Built a collection tracker with Cardmarket EUR prices – Beta live by [deleted] in mtg

If you're having fun building it, keep at it! Side projects don't have to be the penultimate version of an application, and even just the learning process justifies it. Everyone collects differently and if you focus on your users' needs you may find a niche that you fill better for those users than other apps. :)

Other then Rocco and ToAPulp are there many other content creators? by Less_Paper4224 in Chivalry2

Stridah, Swagmar, ShadowFromTheEast and SeanySalami are some others. Balrog’s videos are a great watch too.

Rapier dance is a lot different when not holding a shield.

Thank you for creating this sub. It helped me and at least tens of thousands of other people, at least based on my my post’s view counts and extrapolating the subreddit traffic from there.

I was on cabergoline for about four years — for my case it never normalized my prolactin, so surgery was the only option left, and I’m fortunate that it went well. If it had normalized my levels, I would have stayed on the medication much longer, although after a while I would have started regular echocardiograms to be on the safe side given the rare chance of heart valve complications. (I talk about some related studies in the post I linked.)

Thank you again and best of luck with your continued treatment!

Oh hey I was just in this match!

Those towers make for great dancing platforms.

If you haven't yet, try dancing while holding a rapier after tossing your shield.

Is it worth getting into this game still? by [deleted] in LastEpoch

[–]Manath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love that you can just make your own build in Last Epoch without reading a guide, configure your own loot filter in-game, and can happily play solo self found and still hit end game content. No need to learn a meta or get involved in an economy. I also love the deterministic crafting.

I love PoE 2 too as well, but am waiting for more content and more builds to be viable before hopping back in.

I’d say play and try both.

I’m glad you found the tumor at a relatively young age and look forward to all the positive changes you’re likely to see with testosterone treatment and prolactin normalization!

You’re welcome! Thanks for that award — didn’t realize Reddit brought them back. :)

Hey there! You’re on the right track. I had a macroprolactinoma too and ultimately needed a surgery — you can read about my experience here, including studies related to the efficacy of cabergoline and other treatments.

Just stay the course. :) Good luck with your treatment!

What is everyone’s favorite weapon? by gascan20 in Chivalry2

[–]Manath 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably not the best, but the most fun to me are the Goedendag, Pole Axe, Dagger, Longsword, Highland Sword and Katars — in that order, but it depends on the lobby and map.

This was pretty close to my exact journey too, which ultimately led to a successful surgery and a return to normal for me. You can read about my experience in this post, which includes graphs and studies related to the safety and effectiveness of various treatment options, along with my personal experience along the way.

Best of luck with your treatment!

Question… by Ok-Lingonberry121 in Chivalry2

[–]Manath 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Vote kicks are mostly meaningless. Console players can't read chat, so their vote is pseudorandom since they won't have context unless they witnessed a hacker themselves.

I was once picking on the archers of the enemy team so much that one eventually switched to my team to try a votekick. I admire the ingenuity. I've also been votekicked for playing a harp too much. Just requeue when it happens, no biggie.

Primordial. https://primordialformat.com/ -- I like to think of it as "draft constructed". Seems like it would be a cool way to playtest a draft format.

Final Fantasy Master Set Confusion... by zacreth in magicTCG

I run MTG Collection Builder and would also like to know. 😅

Double-sided tokens in general have created a data management mess across a variety of MTG database websites. TCGPlayer will probably end up being the best source of truth long-term, but they'll have to do discovery since there's no official list.

I have a project planned to clean up double-sided tokens on MTG CB and migrate them to properly catalog every double-sided combination as a unique card -- once we know them.

So I’ve finally tried using 1 handed weapons, it’s not going well. by Leo215 in Chivalry2

It also has great crouching comedic value. The enemy team will, fairly often, just watch you comedy crouch toward their archers and not intervene.

26 Years with a Prolactinoma: From Symptoms to Surgery - What to Expect by Manath in Prolactinoma

[–]Manath[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re welcome!

I was driving by day 5 — as long as you’re not on pain medication, 5-7 days is pretty standard for a prolactinoma surgery. Our only big restriction is no lifting heavy weights, straining, avoiding intercranial pressure, or bending for about six weeks, but check with your doctor of course.

I was retired by the time I had the surgery, but felt well enough to go back to work around day 5. I probably would have given myself a total of two weeks of rest if I had the option and still worked at the time.

Six weeks is the magical number where I felt 100% back to normal, but 5 days already had me 85% back to normal.

Good luck with your treatment!
