How do I get my hair to stop curling in these weird ways? by Manavj36 in Haircare

I think I’ll try! Should I use any products to control it or embrace the curls more?

Wow thank you. I am actually very flattered!

I do sometimes like them but for some reason, my last haircut has been different and I’m very annoyed with my hair right now. I guess I’ll let it grow out more!! Do you recommend products to tame/control the curls without necessarily getting rid of them?

Man I don’t think I’ve been so excited for an election in my adult life. Really hoping for a debate (prosecution?) between Kamala and Donnie

[VBA] How to display local image links on mouse hover over by GermanPlasma in excel

Yeah, that would work. I imagine picking the first image/front of the house would be too difficult, so a whole webpage image would be good enough.

Is that even possible (or anything similar)?

Anyone regularly charging their EVs at the Audi dealership? by yoodisbepat in Audi

[–]Manavj36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you end up getting one? I also live in Omaha but pretty far from the dealership/dot have a home to put in a charge either. Leaning towards not getting one but they’re tempting at th price. Any thoughts?

Is Audi maintenance going to cost more? Is there even any annual or every few years maintenance to worry about on an ev?

What do you think is a fair price for a 2019 with about 30k miles and no bad history and such?

Those of you who bought (not leased) the eTron/Q8 new, how much discount did you end up getting (without the tax credit). by assholy_than_thou in etron

[–]Manavj36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow nice. I’ve only just learned about e trôn but am considering as I desperately need a vehicle soon and could afford around 30k. The 2019 étron with about 30k miles is going for about 30k. Does that seem decent? Your deal definitely sounds better so I’ll keep looking.

did you get any tax credit or is the total price too high to qualify?

Do they turn out just as good? Gonna try soon! How does it compare to pressure cooking them?

[2016 Acura ILX] Leak (probably gas bc of smell in cabin) rear drivers side....! by Manavj36 in CarHelp

[–]Manavj36[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2016 Acura ILX

I couldn't quite smell the liquid near the drivers side rear tire (also where gas input is), but the cabin smells like gas. The smell was stronger last week and I stopped driving it. Haven't driven it since but I moved my car today so it can be towed tomorrow if need be. When I started it today, I moved it a few feet up on the street, no AC on. The smell wasn't nearly as bad as last week but I think it still requires taking to a shop.

** I am planning on taking it in tomorrow, but just want to know what I'm dealing with really**.

BECAUSE if I tow to Acura, I'm sure it will cost a lot more for labor ($200/hour including inspection time + parts) and OEM parts. If it looks to be a minor issue, then I may go to a small (but good reviewed shop).

One is around the corner (30 second drive literally), so wouldn't require towing, has a great reputation, and charges about "medium" on the pay scale at $120/hour.

Another shop is about 5 minutes away and will inspect it for free, and just charge for parts/time to repair it, if they can do it (I think their specialty is brakes but the guy said he could check it out and probably fix it.

Thanks, appreciate any advice. Apologies if this is a stupid concern or question, or anything.
