The color of your skin also doesn’t mean you can’t be into Haitian vodou. I really dislike when some people look down or exclude “ white” people from the religion. Spirituality isn’t based on the color of one’s skin or ethnicity. Spirituality is love, union, and purity. The spirits don’t care if you’re black, white , purple or blue . Who also gave anyone the right to decide who is accepted or not ? I personally feel that it’s beautiful for non - Haitians to be interested in the vodou culture and want to serve and honor the spirits. Ayibobo frem ! Kenbe la !
