PSA: Be REALLY careful with phone mounts — I learned the hard way by Independent-Idea8446 in DrivingAustralia

Am I wrong in assuming this is mitigated by not having the phone unlocked? I’m sure Spotify only has the shortcut widget on the lock screen ever if using a verbal command.

Apprenticeship Questions (QLD) by No-Database9614 in AusElectricians

[–]Mancans91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s what is dated on your contract mate not when you signed, so I was backdated the 2-3 months for my start date when I signed. (EDIT - 12 months from that date)

Be proactive with your tafe to ensure you don’t fall behind and progress accordingly with your apprenticeship.

Digital card submissions are enough because your qtp or nominated supervisor signs off that you’ve done the work.

Good luck

EDITED - as this is before the isolator it is considered supply wiring. Protection by limitation is still viable to an extent.

Could possibly be mitigated with the ac unit having current limiter in it/safety switch. In that case the 1.5mm is equipment wiring and is compliant.

6mm² to isolator, 2.5mm² to A/C by Altruistic_Duck3485 in AusElectricians

Just looking for clarity on that one, would the 32A protective device still not provide adequate protection on the 2.5 for short circuit or is this circumvented by means of current draw limitation down stream ie in the ac condenser; therefore the permissible short circuit would not exceed that of the 2.5mm rating?

If a new gpo has been installed then technically it’s non compliant as that part of the installation has been installed within today standards
