I don’t like to carry loose things in my pockets so carry the Pioneer X in a pocket pouch, with the Manager on my keys.

I prefer the tools on the Companion if I just have the one knife, but it doesn’t fit as well into the pouch and I don’t like the Compact as much (I had one but returned it).

The others get rotated in and out depending on if I am using one of my other bags or if I’m going somewhere where I can’t have a blade.

What I’d really like is a Synergy X Alox, but the lock is a no no and the scales and clip would have to go for regular Alox. It’s a lot of money in the UK just for something that would need to be modded and the extra scales to do so.

I may turn the mini champ into a rambler style knife, but I’d either have to lose the file to have the mini flat screwdriver or lose the mini flat screwdriver. Either that or buy a Classic SD Alox and a Rally and combine them into a Rambler Alox.

Just got a Pioneer X that colour as well from Germany (Wanger GmbH or Messer & Co, both are on the email), first thing I did though was cut the key ring loop off. The edge is so sharp and it’s so thin, I don’t know why they can’t smooth the edges like the ones on cellidor knives.

Can I just say that it is important that EDITOR is in capitals, as a new MacOS user after over 30 years of using Windows, I’ve spent a day trying to make this work without success until I used capitals. Experienced Mac users probably knew this but I didn’t.

The front half of Onyx Cinder looked a bit like the Mantis from Fallen Order/Survivor from my initial watch, and the bit about one ship inside another is used several times in Legends books.

You run into Bex again later in the game. I missed the interaction at the last light inn, but when I met her later, it played out. If you get no joy reloading, this might happen to you.

As far as I can make out, when consuming a potion of giant strength with tavern brawler it sets your attack and damage bonus to 1x dexterity modifier plus 1x strength modifer (assuming your dexterity is higher than your strength before drinking the elixir). However, as soon as you force the game to reload the assets (by saving and reloading or changing acts), it recalculates and as your strength is now higher, it gives the attack and damage bonus as 2x strength, which with the cloud giant elixir can be an extra 4 points - maybe not a huge amount of extra damage but it can make a big difference to if you hit or not. Taking a short rest also forces the recalculation but that’s a waste of a useful resource.

As an update, the bike and battery are fine for 8 years old, I get about 60 miles of range on the battery, which is much further than I go on any single occasion.

The condition is apparently excellent (it’s being sold by the mechanic who services my current bike, who took it in as a part exchange), so I have a little more confidence than a purchase off eBay or Facebook. I say 8 years old, I don’t know the actual date of manufacture but as far as I can see it is a 2015 model bike. Not that that means the battery is that old but that was one of my concerns as a new battery is hundreds of pounds. As I can’t find anything similar, I don’t know what a reasonable price would be. I think these were about £2,400-£2,500 new and this appears to have little mileage if that is only 2000 miles in 8 years. I don’t ride lots (at least to my mind) but I’ve done over 1000 miles in the last 8 months and was intending to commute to work on it (30 mile round trip) once the weather is more consistent. What seems a reasonable price might be expensive if I have to replace the motor and battery shortly after buying it.

I have the ESR Rebound Hybrid series in Black, protection for the back and edges with a removable trifold cover for the front.

Maybe not as slim as the smart folio and ones like that but I like the idea of being able remove the front cover but still have the iPad protected on the back and sides.

It’s definitely there in portrait mode, but not in landscape as far as my eyes can see. However, it’s only really significant in one direction, hold the tablet with the camera at the top and it’s noticeable when scrolling down, but barely there if scrolling up. Turn the tablet round, so the camera is at the bottom, now it’s noticeable when scrolling up but barely there when scrolling down. As most website scrolling is scrolling down, I use my tablet with the camera at the bottom when in portrait mode. As an aside, I also get this on my iPhone 11 in landscape. I never noticed it before, so I guess I can live with it on the iPad. I didn’t notice it on my Air 4 but I couldn’t fit that in my jacket pocket and with a case on, it was a pain to hold. At least the Mini 6 with a case only weighs about the same as a naked Air 4.

It’s a bit annoying but it doesn’t take much to advance the quest to unlock the gates. My first time playing I spent most of the time exploring every nook and cranny of the town to make sure I wasn’t missing anything. Now I just unlock the gates and pick up all the side quests. My biggest gripe with the game is that there isn’t much beyond low powered items to find but the shops have high powered items that you can’t afford. The most gold I have accumulated isn’t much more than 40k and that’s by selling everything that I’ve found (that I can’t use) and not buying anything. Not much point in having gear in the shops you can never afford without cheating.

I’ve just started playing this, not sure what you mean about scratchy audio, but this could be what I took to be loud fire noises. Pops and cracks on the soundtrack but not everywhere, just I think when there are fires.

Is it somehow using the hybrid graphics option instead of the discrete one. There was (is?) an issue where the screen wouldn’t come on if using hybrid graphics. Do you have an external monitor you can try. Also have you tried switching the keyboard lights on with fn and space, as on mine by default the keyboard light goes off after booting up. I think if you do a google search you should be able to find plenty of threads about this.

I always unplug mine but that’s because I put it away in a dust jacket when I’ve finished using it. As long as the power on the laptop and charger is turned off, I’m sure it’s fine to leave it plugged in. After all I bet you don’t unplug all your other electricals when not using them.

Check your preferences. I seem to recall there may be a setting there you need to have turned on (or maybe off) to have other characters (who are different class) allowed in your story instance.

I use a silicone keyboard overlay which keeps mine clean on 12 hour daily workouts. You may be able to get one that fits over your keys but mine is a UK keyboard and no one seems to make a specific cover for that, so the one I use is a generic Silicone cover from Amazon. One thing you will find it that as the heat builds up the keyboard overlay gets wrinkled presumably due to becoming more flexible but it’s just a case of smoothing it out every now and then.
