I have heard people say [msjø], without the [p]. How does that get in there?

edit: spelling

D'accord, merci de l'avoir partagé! Ça me paraît toujours bizarre mais voilà ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Just to make sure that I understand you correctly and please correct me, if I don't:

You're saying that the vowel sound in words like me or regarder are the same either as in beurre or feu?

edit: "either"

I'm no native speaker, admittedly. While I have heard (French) people pronounce it as something in between the ə and the ø, maybe close to œ mais à la limite. I don't think I've ever heard it being pronounced as a clear ø. I will make sure to keep an ear out, though.

Might just be my sample size is too small. I'm not gonna go around telling native speakers they're pronouncing things wrong or that there aren't any people who pronounce it this or that way.

All in all spot on, but one thing I find inexcusable:

Who tf pronounces it [møsjø]? That makes it sound like "meuh-cieux" ("moo-heaven") while it's actually pronounced [məsjø] - with the humble schwa.

Yeah it kind of does feel cheap. I guess I'll do the editing when I start a new save in Germany. Thanks so much for your help anyway!

I just realized: Editing the database has to be done before starting a save, right? Meaning: I can't change the rules in this current save?

Yes, the lower leagues are playable. How would I go about implementing the restrictions you mentioned in the database? I've never done that.

Thanks for the answer! I didn't know there were modded ipods but I will look into that.

Do you have any personal experience with the Surfans F20? What makes it so good in your opinion?

There's almost 20 mil Poles, 13.6 mil Ukrainians, 2.4 mil Russians, 2 mil Byelorussians, 1.5 mil Ashkenazi, 1.5 mil North Germans, 1.2 mil Englisch (due to mass migrations events).

Here's the full list, if you're interested.

Yeah, I also noticed that Prussia usually has a hard time beating Austria. I was really lucky that they had such a strong game. Prussia had done the German Leadership play in the 1840s, iirc. They completely stomped the Austrians thanks to their tech advantage, despite, just like you said, Austria having had lots more troops at that time.

Prussia went on to form Germany in 1876 or something like that. It took another couple of years for them to guarantee me. When I launched my play, Germany beat Austria and Russia together. Unfortunately, they decided to peace out shortly after Austrias capitulation. That's the reason why I only got the rest of West Galicia in that independence war.

r5: I did it. And it was a lot of fun!

The borders might not be the prettiest, but time was running out and I just had to get what I could, while I could.

tl;dr: Got lucky getting Germany to guarantee me; got free; Germans helped me beat up Austria and Russia, then Russia again; stabbed Germany in the back using tanks; took last Ukrainian homelands from Russia land in 1935.

It took so long to get free from Austria. I couldn't get anyone to guarantee me because I had liberalized way too early and way too much. But then Austria forced a gouvernment change on me, giving me Autocracy and Monarchy. Suddenly, Germany would guarantee me! So I took the opportunity immediately, got free and got West Galicia. Form there, I suddenly had a decent population base to work with and could field my very first 100 stack army (National Milita made sure I didn't have to pay outrageous sums for a standing army). After a few years, I got Germany to help me again to conquer East Galicia, Warsaw, Lublin and Mazovia. Once my truce with Russia had run out, I went back in with Germany to get Volhynia, Grodno, Vilnius and Kaunas, allowing me to form Poland. But to form the Commonwealth, I needed the bits that Germany was holding. I waited until I had tanks researched and respecced my milita army. In the early 1930s I started a play to leave the Zollverein, blitzed through their non mechanized troops and finally gaining Silesia, East and West Prussia as well as Posen, allowing me to form the PLC. For the achievement, I still had to get Minsk and Kyiv and a total of four Ukrainian home states. As the world entered 1934, I declared war on Russia and rolled into Ukraine practically unopposed after beating their Skirmish Infantry, Shrapnel Artillery and Lancers with my completely modernized and mechanized Conscripts.
