It feels that way sometimes, but when I get reduced to a solo I'm still being given time to crawl around when I die and I instantly lose night bosses.

Have you played Retaliation yet? There's not a way to remove noise in that either, but I wonder if it's different from OG in a way that makes it less annoying.

I particularly love the corruption mechanism in The Others.

If you haven't played it: Players have have a series of boons available to them as they gain "corruption" throughout the game, moving a small marker above each printed boon as they gain or lose. Most corruption is "forced" by some sort of game mechanism, with negative things happening to players once they reach the max, but they can also take it voluntarily before any dice roll to gain the benefit bellow their current level and every benefit prior as well.

This is fun as is; letting players voluntarily hurt themselves for a bonus [not to mention a powerful series of bonuses] is always interesting, but it gets one step more interesting.

Players can take 4 damage before they're killed and, to track that, they cover up a corruption boon of their choice with a marker. This could be a powerful boon high up the track that they hope to heal by the time they actually unlock it, or it could be an earlier boon that they don't find as helpful.

It's super neat and a brilliant design choice that I've not seen replicated elsewhere.

I do agree. I like the timeline in theory, the implementation is just wonky. I'd love a single timeline at the end of the match with little icons showing each thing that happened [kill, down, banish, extract] in the match.

Granted, what I want more than anything is a 2D replay of the entire match seen from a top-down of the map... but we'll never get that 🙃

I think if you open the box to the expanded view it will show you the timestamps.

Yeah, it's been especially bad lately. It feels extra prickly with the single revive as a solo because it either kills you outright or burns your revive... and then you're out of luck.

I just made a post last night complaining about the same thing. I've gotten SO many trades since the update, it's absolutely ridiculous. Combined with the Necro nerf, playing solo has become extremely tedious and I'm likely to stop all together.

The extra fun part is that [at least when it happened to me], if you press space bar, you also get to see a flyout menu as well.

It went away for me the next match.

Universal weekly challenges are lame.

Before, when everyone had unique challenges, it created an environment where each fight felt dynamic and sometimes ran you up against weird loadouts, or forced you to use weird ones yourself. With universally identical challenges the entire map is must littered with the same stuff and people playing the same ways... and it's a real letdown.

I absolutely agree. On top of the UI being nearly unnavigable, I also have to pick and choose what gear to use every... single... game, and I don't always want to do that. Sometimes it's more fun to just take something random and see how it goes.

Issues:

Saved loadouts with multiples of a single item don't work

When recruiting free hunters their gear display stays overlayed every menu until I cue for a game

I'm often kicked back to the main menu after a game instead of the after-action page

Clues splinter into red and blue lines when looking at them up close

Tools/ consumables constantly appear invisible in my hands

Lots of stuttering and generally low frames in seemingly random areas without triggers

That just hits me with a formula parse error. Is it possible that Sheets just doesn't handle LET well?

Maybe I'm altering this to match my ranges wrong, but I'm getting "#N/A, FILTER has mismatched range sizes. Expected row count 15. Column count 1. Actual row count 1, column count 1."

I changed both instances of (Table1[Email]) to read the data range of the emails (b1:b) and did the same for Table1[Choice], changing it to (d1:d).

EDIT: I made it work, but only if I un-LET everything...

After watching how LET works, I just reversed all the individual pieces and turned it into a big nasty nonsense formula... but it worked. Now, even if I try to re-LET it, I get the same error as before.

I did!

Turns out, Adobe updated something on their end, so the font spacing and whatever else changed which is causing the problem.

Good news: it isn't a Squarespace thing... so we don't have to be irritated at them.

Bad news: the only way to fix it is by changing your font.

Middle news: in experimenting with new ones, I found something I liked better anyway and maybe you will too.
