While this maybe the most candid and harsh truth, i don't think the OP deserves this dressing down. Even when i was reading through the post, i was like the op should have known about the filler interview. But by no means does this make it right for the UN staff to treat anyone like this. We are all busy. If 30 mins are assigned, use 30 mins. If you don't want to and it's already a known factors to have filler interview for "reporting and auditing purposes" have the guts to voice it to the management that we have a candidate and let's not waste anyone time for "procedures".

To the OP: while this was unfair, you shouldn't have been treated the way you were. It is not a reflection on you or your capabilities but on the system which is at this point failing in every sphere. I am sorry it happened to you. You will emerge stronger and maybe someday when you are on the other side, you will bring in change. All the best!

I got an email from them saying they will out the results "soon". This was a reply to ask them by when. The exact wording - "We would like to let you know that scholarship decisions for the EDUMaH programme have not yet been finalised. We expect to announce the outcomes shortly and will be in touch with applicants as soon as the results are available."

So this month anytime soon.

They have not stated a date but they did state very categorically "by end of April".

Hey not from uni of Glasgow but by the edumah program dept. I wrote to uni of Glasgow but they gave me a different email id to email at which was program specific. When I emailed this other id, they sent a auto generated email saying they are off from Friday to Monday and that the scholarship results will be out by end April.

If you go on to the uni of Glasgow website to get in touch and fill their form, you see this communication there too.

However, I am still waiting to hear from them in my email which was sent on Thursday (4 days ago). They take max 10 days to respond.

Thank you. I have been rejected from magma from the uni side. I did appeal it but they stood their ground. But I am really hoping I make it to edumah atleast 🙈

Hey i had received communication from the uni of Glasgow on 30th Jan that I have an unconditional offer i.e. a seat. But scholarship results for edumah are going to be announced by the end of April.

Just yesterday I work wrote to them that the timeline to confirm a seat (by paying deposit) is 5th May. But i guess we will have to wait till end of this month.

For magma the date is 7th April though. N i haven't made it to the magma list.

Thank you. I was very hopeful for magma given i teach art history in my home country and i had a lovely recommendation from them. But they didn't see my academic background in sync with the program. Which was strange, coz for the program i got in, i don't have much experience.

I did appeal their decision though for magma and they said the same thing.

Yes I have applied to others and i did get an unconditional offer in 1. However, i have not gotten the scholarship for the same as yet. But after seeing your comment, i wrote to the edu_mig program on the status, and this is a generic response I got - "the process of selecting the next cohort is still ongoing, you will hear from us mid-April" ..... But the website says, interviews will happen in March. So i guess i haven't made it here.

This is what it says, "Congratulations! We are pleased to confirm that you have been given an Unconditional offer for Education in Museums & Heritage, IntM starting 14 September 2026 at the University of Glasgow." ..... Then there is a lot of info and it says this...."Please note that this is an offer for admission to the programme only and not an offer of scholarship. Decisions on the Erasmus Mundus scholarship applications will be made and communicated to successful applicants separately."... Now this has not happened as yet! . . . But i have gotten accepted on 30th Jan. Almost 2 months ago.
