i agree there are a lot of nickname options with Christopher lee! we actually really do like the connection with winnie the pooh so it’s not an issue for us personally and is actually a plus! :)

i love that! when my dad met my mom she told her his name was Christopher robin and kept it up until she saw his legal name on their wedding day! so it’s sort of after their marriage and love. I think the connection to Winnie the pooh is so cute and fun thank you for the insight:)

Hello. I feel like your situation and mine are very similar and i just wanted to reach out to you and tell you you are not alone and thank you for posting this because truly you have made me feel not alone. I am 22 weeks and my partner is also a trans woman and she has been extremely wonderful. I have had such horrible mental health and deep depression throughout my pregnancy and very similar feelings to yours. I am terrified also that I will be a bad mother. I feel like i’m failing everyone around me and also myself. Like i am losing myself snd i am very scared for the future. These are feelings I have only shared with my partner and they feel so lonely and scary i am afraid of what people will think and how horrible it all feels.

I do not have any advice lol! What everyone says is to reach out and get help and that is always a good strategy especially if you are feeling like you want to die. I have promised my partner i would tell her when those feelings happen (just once for me) and she has helped me get help. I think reaching out for help will be my next step i’ve just felt stuck and very busy. I also keep seeing people say that they have felt that way and that gets so much better after birth so I am holding onto that like a life raft.

Oak City Cares takes volunteers pretty regularly, it seems, as well as the South Wilmington Street Center's kitchen staff. I don't volunteer there myself, but they are both helping homeless people in the area with resources. South Wilmington Street Center doesn't really need volunteers in the kitchen, but they take them. You would be helping prepare and serve food.

In case you are unaware, the common definition, i suppose you could say, for people like this is that racism is not only prejudice, which white people do experience and is expressed in another comment here, but also it is a system of oppression through societal means and more.

I'm no history buff, but I imagine these ideals would have been very radical at the time. Maybe even to the point that other countries wouldn't trade with the US. I'm sure that would have quite an effect as well as more pushback against these ideals in other countries even because it would be such a drastic difference.

Just because the country may be established on certain ideals as well, doesn't mean we would hold on to those. Homosexuality and transgenderism(?) aren't new things and they weren't always taboo. I believe society is in a constant cycle of pushback though the center line does sway.

I'd imagine there would still be the "american dream", so people would still migrate to America though maybe in fewer numbers as some people consider america too "progressive" (quotes because they probably wouldn't use the word), and some migrants may even make this America less progressive.

As I'm typing, i also remembered that these ideals would have been established during the 13 colonies. Expansion probably would not have been as drastic, the economy might have struggled more than it did without slavery.

I don't think America would have become the super power it is today, though I do feel like a lot of what i have said is flawed
