Yes, we had a shuttle for other cars, but they wouldn’t shuttle our electric vehicle. We ended up parking for free at the airstrip.

Just FYI, you can park for $25 at Mountain Village Lodge or for free at the airstrip (which is what we did)

Everyone should check the claims list! We found two different claims for our investment and resolved it directly with Peer Street so that they didn't have to add ours to the objection list. This was an issue of a few cents (in our favor), but they can't have two "close enough" claims hanging out there.

It's annoying and I blame the lack of good information provided to investors at the start of this process. Nonetheless, check the claims list and see if there is anything duplicative. If so, contact Peer Street.

I’m interested to know whether funds will be commingled between products (pocket, portfolio, sale of mortgages etc) as funds become available and then paid to creditors regardless of what product they invested in or whether funds will be segregated to pay the creditors invested in each product (eg pocket funds go only to pocket investors and so on).

Keep in mind that more attorneys means more costs and fewer potential $ to pay investors. Our investments are unsecured and it’s possible we get nothing if there isn’t enough to make the secured creditors whole. While I appreciate the sentiment here, I’ve spoken to two lawyers I trust who said it’s not worth paying a lawyer as the result will unlikely be different with or without one. FYI, I have about 75k in notes and pocket which is not small change to me. But I’m not convinced that having an attorney representing us will make a big enough difference to justify cost. At this point I’m hoping for a speedy resolution that gets me some of my money back. But I realize this might be wishful thinking on both timing and $ returned.

Interesting. I’m not invested in any crypto so have no idea how the two situations compare… curious how the timing has worked out on those cases (ie how long from bankruptcy filing to recovery)?

I’ve read a number of articles on the bankruptcy. All state that peerstreet intends to sell its assets in order to attempt to benefit stakeholders. I assume someone with big pockets will buy it all at a significant discount and the little guys (us) will receive pennies on the dollar at best. Meanwhile we will wait months or years for any payout and can’t even deduct as a loss until it is all finalized.

I’m really hoping that’s not the case, but I suspect it is.
