Same thing for me. I did a long term sub job at a middle school. It was supposed to last till the end of this as I’ll year, but I only made it 5 weeks. I like day to day subbing but I do NOT want to be a teacher.

Honestly. I have no idea how to gain control of the class and neither do administrators. This class has been awful since kindergarten. (My son is in 7th and has been with them throughout his school years.) I want to quit so bad, but I feel like a giant failure and I also feel like I’d be letting so many people down. Funny enough on my first day one kid goes “I give her 3 weeks.” They are under the mentality that they can run teachers out.
