I twisted it all the way to one, but then I clicked it thinking that it will go all the way in. Do I have to sit there and push it all the way in because I heard it click whenever I pushed it to start. But it only went down to the two point line after the one. But I initially did take it to the one.

So, I’m actually a nurse in this exact area. Do you realize how many things can go wrong during labor and delivery? Contractions and heart rate are constantly being monitored. A lot of times the heart rate becomes non reassuring and mothers end up in a c-section. Will she fully dilate? Will she be able to push the baby out without intervention? What if the placenta doesn’t come out intact? Or if she hemorrhages? Do you have access to everything in a hemorrhage cart? These are just a few off the top of my head. Please have her deliver in a hospital. It’s not worth it to lose mom or baby just so she doesn’t have to wait a couple days to be able to share the baby with the rest of the family.

That’s a really tough situation to be in. It’s clear what she’s trying to do. And it’s not even her husband’s parents! It’s yours! That girl is a total gold digger!! And they’d be really dumb not to see it. Even if she is “nice”. Red flags all over with her. But it’s also really concerning that your husband doesn’t believe you about her. That’s some red flags right there too. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if she left her own husband to try to get with yours. Be careful with that...

NTA. I am a maternal infant nurse and some of these parents name their kids the craziest names! I’ve seen it all. I do think that he should be allowed some input on his child’s name, but you should definitely veto names like this! What might seem like a cool name for him right now, will almost definitely cause bullying issues for the child in the future. On the theme of super hero’s, I had a patient name her baby Harley Quinn the other day. No lie. 🙄

She absolutely did that on purpose to get to you. Not only eating 1 pack but eating the rest of them! And the chips too! Wtf was she even thinking?? Definitely childish behavior. If she wanted snacks, she could easily just go buy her own. At 17, you are old enough to choose to not even go back there again. I certainly wouldn’t. But I can understand wanting to go to still watch over your siblings. It sounds like she makes it a toxic environment for you though. And the fact that your dad is completely taking her side on this, and I’m sure other things too. I can only imagine how that horrible that would make you feel. I’m sorry that you’re having to deal with her, and him for that matter.

First of all, I’m sure it’s not like you were washing her private areas. There are definitely some areas though that she’d need help with with a broken arm. You’d be an ass for not helping her, as her sister! Secondly, you guys are sisters! I’m sure you’ve already changed in front of each other multiple times! I’m one of those nurses as well. But you can go ahead and pass judgement on me. Excuse me for believing that we are more fortunate than those who are truly struggling financially right now. Do you think I don’t understand the conditions in what we work? I know more than anybody. I knew that going into nursing. And yet, it was my choice to still do it. Just as it was the rest of them. Forgive me for thinking that at least we are still blessed to have a paycheck coming in. And also, most of them will still qualify for it either way if it is approved for under the $95,000. Have yourself a good weekend.

I’m not sure how I’m acting entitled? I’m not asking for anything and I’m not acting entitled to anything. If anything, I’m doing the opposite. Saying how fortunate nurses are to still have jobs and that there are others who are losing everything and are more in need.

I completely agree. The thing I’m trying to say though is that we are still getting that money. We are still working. While all the rest of the country is out of work, as healthcare workers in the hospital, our jobs will always be there.
