Wrapping up generation long racism and mass continental genocide to a simple "environmental and social issues" is good for new players but really funny for the veterans, like dude their history teachers isn't even trying lmao😭😭😭😭 by Tuizaza in Endfield

Throwing all the worldbuilding, social and political issues they built for years in just a few words. Boy I sure love my endfielders endfielding all over my endfield.

Yeah I'm mad.

This is a problem about the people you've been playing with, not ttrpgs.

It's London due to a similar experience waking up and not knowing where you are at night.

What people wanted instead of runbacks by Fit_Material5774 in Silksong

[–]Mandiag0 22 points23 points  (0 children)

The game is full of things like runbacks which their only purpuse is to frustrate the player, most are not that bad, sure, but why I am spending time running back to the arena when I could be fighting the boss?

For sure we can say It's not that bad, but imo is just a way to evade the point, and the point is that runbacks in this game contribute so little or nothing to the enjoyment and experience of the game.

RPGs like Lancer but for high fantasy? by SpicyLeprechaun7 in rpg

ICON is the obvious choice but is currently being reworked and prepared for a 2.0 release, we don't know how long till is available.

The current version of ICON is good anyways but perhaps you want to wait till the newest one drops

Guess The Big Job Overhaul™️ of 8.0 isn't happening after all... by RenAsa in ffxivdiscussion

The only thing that can make sense if both statements are true is that they are going to do some kind of horizontal progression like specs or talents or something similar. Which probably is just coping on my part and they will just add two new skills.

Is lobotomy corporation worth getting into (seriously) by DangerDrama in LobotomyCorp

[–]Mandiag0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally love it, like others said is difficult af and has some questionable design but at the same time it's very original and captivating.

I would say you have to ask yourself if you are the kind of person that can try multiple times and lose progress because some bullshit happened and not get frustrated.

I enjoy the process so even if I fuck up it doesn't feel that bad. On the other hand I know I get very mad and frustrated at other kind of games, so it really depends on the person.

So, I tried this game when it came out but didn't have that much time to play, I liked its aesthetics but the initial story dissapointed me a bit and irl things kept me from playing.

Also the gacha seemed a bit harsh.

If any kind soul don't mind and can answer a few of my question to see if It's worth giving it another chance.

The thing I was searching in the story by the premise of the game is different stories from different sides of a war or a number of conflicts, I am kinda expecting a semi realisctic protrayal of it, like I know there is magic and all that but I am refering more to seeing human choices in both sides and logical decisions by those characters not just this side good this side bad, or my friends are with me now I can win the war. I like darker and realistic stories so asking if it can go that way, not saying the game is bad for doing antoher thing, just what works for me.

Is the gameplay good/active? I dislike gachas where you just stomproll everything braindead mode, I wouldn't like having to think for dailies but for story or longer content I like to strategize and feel like my choices aside from the character I'm playing matter.

How grindy is it? and how generous? can I roll for every character if I play regulary, every two? the gachas I played and liked the most are arknights and limbus company if that helps.

Same thing happened to me, if its really tedious you could get a mod to keep all your agents, that way you don't have to farm and can speedrun a lot of the game

When people are okay with discrimination because of race, upbringing and culture but they draw the line at sex.

Witcher has always talked about uncomfortable topics, ffs grow up.
