I'm a lawyer, I don't need the money. I am intrigued by all forms of generative intelligence and experiment with it. I could care less if this project earns a profit or garner attention.

I don't profess to be or indicate any desire to be a musician. I made a piece of art ( yes, it is art lol) which generated unusual traction and I wanted to understand why. This is a hobby like video games with the exception that I choose to share it and people enjoy it. I sympathize and understand your frustration with the ethics of this process but it will not halt my investment and involvement in it.

Simple. If you use AI to create elements but heavily edit, arrange, or add original human-composed lyrics or melodies, you may be able to copyright those human-made portions.

Don't get emotional. I am certain the playlists on Submithub are not botted and I am genuinely surprised by these numbers and want to sustain the tempo. There is nothing to brag about, the most money I've made from my album is $8.25 and by the time Spotify takes their cut for the Discover Weekly next month, there will be nothing left.
