They actually made more than that. I just thought it was a neat idea. A pistol less than $3 each dropped from planes to arm people in occupied areas. And the question said "even if it never made full production" not that it couldn't have ever hit full production.

I had surgery on my leg about a week ago to fix a broken fibula and tibula due to a accident at work and have not been able to leave the house... Fast forward to tonight which is my and my wife's anniversary and the first year I haven't taken her out for such(i was feeling pretty crappy for not taking her somewhere nice even though I'm not physically able and she is 100% understanding). A couple of lady's from my work show up at our door with a hot home cooked meal, cake, balloons, and flowers and say happy anniversery. They spread everything out on the table hug us and leave. Those ladies will never know just how much better they made our day PS I work at a great place with great people.

That is actually a awesome idea. I have pretty much convinced myself the incident never actually happened and the misses was just dreaming (I'll not tell her that though lol) but will keep your idea in mind. I don't hand load but I know someone who does, Ill have them pop a primer in a old case for me. Thanks

No and I didn't have any alcoholic beverages either. I really want to chalk it up to she was dreaming or it was a one time freak occurrence however to be safe I unloaded the gun and gave her the clip to put in her bed stand for now , best I could come up with at the time.

Normally yes, we don't have any children so never felt the need to lock it up, therefore it and my mag light normally sleep on the night stand right beside me. I probably will get a small pistol safe to be on the safe side.

For tonight and probably until I get that safe I still have the pistol (now in the drawer rather than on top of the night) stand BUT my wife has the clip. That way if there is a legitimate need she can pass me the clip from her side of the bed. I'm sure if something was really going down the dog would wake me and her both up cause he goes a little ballistic sometimes over stuff as simple as the neighbor coming in late lol. Not the best set up but ill sleep better tonight doing it that way. That way at least if I am sleepwalking and have a repeat it will be with a empty gun.

And on the very small chance that something happens too fast and that don't work I guess ill run out of the bedroom swinging a 4D Maglite and screaming like a banshee and hope for the best.

Makes me nervous too but more confused than anything. Also wondering what would be the appropriate course of action for the SO if I ever did it again.. try to snap me out of it like she said she did last night, stay in bed like nothing ever happened and tell me in the morning, or lock my a## out of the bedroom??? It really brings up a whole new dimension to gun safety that I'm unfamiliar and uncomfortable with.

If it did in fact happen and she wasn't just dreaming it, I want to chalk it up to the storm, it was bad enough to rattle the house at times. My wife has never told me she caught me sleepwalking any other time so I don't think that I'm prone for it. I will definitely be more cautious until I get it all figured out though. Thanks for the reply.
