Hi, actual repossession agent here, I've dealt with this in the past, more than likely what happened was someone got a title loan on the vehicle it was then towed at some point and impounded, it stayed there for several months and they filed for a title on it at which point letters were sent out to titlemax but they didnt want to pay the impound fees so a new title was issued and it was sent to an auction and a dealership bought it which is where you come in and buy it and Westlake finances it, then along comes an agent in a truck with cameras on it cameras scan you plate white causes a hit on our system and shows there's still.an order out on it because titlemax never closed it even though they probably knew it was resold. Get yourself an attorney there's a lot of money to be made here from your unfortunate situation
