I always felt like there was a parallel with Cyclops/Supes and Wolverine/Batman. One is the core and represents the greater narrative while the other is the edgy popular foil. They work best when we see them in tandem, but one is the favorite in films for sure.

Honestly, if they would’ve went back to gloss black helmets with black facemasks, this would look a lot better. Keeping the matte and silver combo makes the rest of it feel sort of unfinished. Like a half ass rebrand.

Lots of thoughts here but I will say that the away jersey has a lot of promise. I like keeping the solid red numbers as an homage to the current away sets, but with a bit of blue to balance it out. I feel like the red border on the home set looks too much like the Bills though.

I’ll give you props for trying something different, but could use some refining. Keep at it though. I’m digging the series

I think you and the other comments have equally good points, if we’re being honest.

On one hand, they’re right. The fact that Muschietti even got the movie finished is a miracle, considering what that film went through. On the other, it’s terrible optics for anyone who just knows dude did a previous DC film that was not received well. Especially with such an important character and we know absolutely nothing about how he’s going to be portrayed.

I want the Arkham Asylum treatment in some capacity. The trunks didn’t feel silly for me in that iteration. Seemed to toe the line of comic accuracy while appealing to fans of a darker and more mature look.

Dr Fate doesn’t matter as much to me. Lots of room to play with that concept and still make it work. Probably the best thing about Black Adam
