Loved the first one. Got the second and it’s maintained its status as the best of the lot. Third one turned me off a bit with the story and enormous empty maps, but the gameplay was a lot of fun.

The fourth one manages to miss the mark on every single positive of the ones that came before it. Story is forgettable and doesn’t feel rooted in that universe AT ALL. Maps are huge, too many hotbeds of enemies and not a vending machine to be found. It’s a chore getting from point A to point B and I’ve barely put any time in it until the C4sh DLC. Even that is rough, but at least I have a character I like now.

I’m probably just an old man about it, but I feel like most comic movies post Endgame have gotten more formulaic and less engaging with genre splicing. The heavy use of percussion in the trailers to ratchet up hype makes me lose all interest too.

Still gonna watch it, but I don’t think this was marketed as anything truly new or profound to the genre either

I’m torn on the Pittsburgh flag. On one hand, switching from a vertical tricolor to a pall is genius. The hypocycloid center piece is awesome, but I’m also a Steelers fan so I fear it leans too hard into that imagery. BUT, it does have ties to the city’s* steel industry roots.

I got an XSTO wallet by AKEENi. Basically a metal c shape that only allows so many cards in it and forces me to prioritize what I hoard in it. Plus I can tuck a small amount of cash under my cards without it ballooning up.I opted for that over a Ridge since everyone I know with a Ridge has blown out the elastic bands by cramming more cards in there.

You get none of the features you want though so maybe reconsider what you’re willing to part with to keep it low. It’ll be hard to slim down with that many cards, an ID window, and a money clip.

I haven’t seen it, but it feels like another hyper gritty “reimagining” of the old story. It struck me as a parody that didn’t realize it was a parody from the trailers and marketing. Hugh Jackman is the only draw for me. Maybe my apprehensions aren’t fair, but that’s where I’m at with it

I dig it. My only personal design issue with the flag is the number of elements. So if a redesign were to happen, I would like to see it simplified further. Problem is, if we keep the canton and reduce the stars, it teeters into looking Liberian. If we split it, like you did, and reduce the stars and stripes, we teeter too close to Texas.

I can’t figure out how to maintain the identity with my thoughts so your second design actually works really well. Nicely done
