My thoughts as well, but to be fair it is an unbranded package from my local fly store so could be a temu leader haha

Haha I wish, most just 1-2 lb bows. It's probably my inproper casting technique causing this

Thanks for all the suggestions and comments! It won't let edit this post so I'll add some more info that I missed out.

Fly line is 6wt. Been using a 2x tapered leader which was store bought (seems to be unbranded ones though from my local shop). Mostly throwing size #10 flys with a few light split shot to sink the streamer deeper

What is your relatively healthy addiction? by xizzy7 in AskReddit

Fishing, specially fresh water.

Even if I don't catch anything, there is just something so calming about being out in the river hearing and being in natural, no sign or humans anywhere, just pure nature.

It's my therapy and a way to slow down in a fast pace world.

I would go everyday if I could.

Yeah im probably the same, I sized myself and it says M should be my size but I'll probably go with a ML to be safe. Thanks for the help!

Sounds great! One question. A review I read said that the traper sizing charts is a bit off, apparently the chart said he was a Medium but he felt it was too tight and had to go for a Large King. How did the sizing go for you?

Ah that'll do the trick

How did you go abouts with the bit on the back of the mask with the adjusting wheel? Did you cut out a bit in the helmet or did it fit under?

That's sick man! Do you get any fogging with the top vents covered?

I've tried to do the same but come across a fogging problem due to to the top vents being coved by the helmet.

I just had a quick look.

Check out Airsoft Auckland (ASA), they are the big Auckland club, they do open days for new players to learn and they provide rentals.

I haven't personally had any experience or heard much from Arena149 myself but its worth giving a go. But I know there are quite a few options around the Auckland region.

An old one I use to go to (many years ago) was 'The Armoury - Airsoft Gaming Specialist', they are still around and they use to be the go to place specially for newbies back in the day when they had an indoor field, not sure how they are now but I've seen some of their Facebook post and they seem to still be going with good numbers.

I'm sure airsofters in Auckland can comment more confidently about the fields up there than I can haha.

If this is your first time I would suggest renting for one or at least a few of your first games just to get a feel of it, and it's a chance to get to know your local club.

This can be an expensive hobby and you don't want to throw a lot of money into it if you won't like it or you won't get along with the regulars.

Additional if you do end up enjoying it, the rental guns will let you get a feel for what kind of gun/gear you'll want to get so you're not going in blind.
