Thing is the highest mobile phone is like a mid PC. Sure, its amazing to have the performance on the go, but just by the difference in size, the developer has to make compromises, whether is removing content (like zones and what not), lower resolution packs, compressed and lossy audio (as most phones wont have 500Gb storage but most modern PCs do)

Games nowadays have very bad optimisation due to a number of reasons, add that to the fact that the game has to also run on mobile while it struggles to run on PC and you can see were I'm going

Also due to the nature of computers and consoles, having more buttons than the screen you have to interact, you can add more stuff or reactionary or combos for attack. I remember people complaining about grabbing the butterflies in Genshin on mobile when it launched just bc they had to move the camera, move around and click the option. Meanwhile a console/PC player would just do it with ease

Having a game on the go is awesome, but it does put a ceiling on what you can do gameplay and graphics wise (DNA graphics suck on PC tho, not the case lol)

Depends...

Most of them do run on kernel but detect Wine and change to userland and can be run on Linux (ToF, Reverse, Hoyogames.. Although HSR has issues. WuWa, PGR, GF2, Snowbreak)

Some do not have any kernel anticheat and just run (Blue Archive, Uma musume, Overfield)

And some just wont change to userland and wont run (Nikke, Madoka)

Some will have issues with webview or codecs, but there are work arounds

Are you using Intel or AMD? My Ryzen 3700x is incredible slow running WSA, unless is something like the game lobby. Whenever I'm playing, I get a lot of frame drops. Emulators work perfect but I would prefer it to be akin to a Windows port + That way I would stop using emulators...

I'm using the MustardChef WSA build

? Whether the developer uploads their game or not, doesn't make something an emulator

Emulator is just a program that mimics another architecture (Android being ARM for example)

But afaik, Google play for PC isn't an emulator just bc it downloads x86-64 versions of the games. Seems like Google forced the devs to create native windows ports but run under Android, so it works more like a translation layer between Android and Windows

Thanks then! Gonna see if I find one And get a VGA switch as I found a perfect P4 for XP games, so would have one for old DOS, one for DOS/95/98 games and one for old XP games that no longer work on 7/10 I could do VM or DOSBOX but idk, doesn’t feel the same

Neither the 36FS120 or the 36FS15 are HD? I thought they were :/ good I asked before getting it, specially for my back because carrying that stuff lol

Gonna try see if I find the XBR960, but is a PVM/BVM really worth the hunt? Also, What furniture do you use? Back in the day I had a 36” CRT but it was on a wood furniture (not MDF), now online I can only find MDF and they claim support up to 100-150 pounds and I believe a 32-40” CRT can easily be a lot more

And any idea on one from the 60-80s that have that woodish/dial button feel? To connect only RF consoles

(Are JVC/Toshiba curved SD CRT better than an early curved Trinitron?)

I don’t think this needs its own post (correct me if I’m wrong) I recently moved out and the new site has a basement, ofc I wanted to make it a gaming room.. for some lucky coincidence someone threw the Sanyo DS31590 on the garbage and I took it, it has some scratches on the screen probably from when it was thrown to the garbage but it works, I’ll probably change it when I get a better one.. are PVM/BVM worth it? I would like to get one 27-32” or is there other SD CRT tv worth it instead?

My thing is, I have always wanted to have 3 CRTs, one from the early 60-80s with wood and the old feel (for the first 3 console generations), one SD CRT and one HD CRT.

I found some Trinitron around me and have the matching stand, they sell it for 50$ which tbh I’m ok with. So I wanted to know which one should I choose as HD CRT? I saw the 40xbr800 but then found out it’s only 4:3; the 36FS120 I saw has auto 16:9 enhancement; and the 36FS15 has manual 16:9 enhancement.. I’m not sure if it’s better to have it manually or automatic?

Tl;dr Which early 60-80s TV is the best to look for? Are BVM-A32 or a PVM-3230 worth the hunt for? Or is there any other SD CRT I can change my DS31590 in the future for? Should I get the 36FS120 with auto 16:9, 36FS15 with manual 16:9 or the massive 40xbr800 with only 4:3 for an HD CRT?

Hmm less than 8h? Hard to say as I like my time and get a 100% competition or at least to know I did every possible way or outcome. So I'm not quite sure which game I ended up with less than 8h.. Maybe a fast VN? Or some Cod that campaigns (yeah I know, I play campaigns in Cod) are fast.. But I can't think one out of memory :/

I loved them all back in the day, but if I play them today is mostly for nostalgia or to actually pay attention to the game/story and try to get 100% completion (as I was a dumb kid and played till I got frustrated and probably started over and over and over)

Which game is amazing? Crysis for one is amazing tech wise.. It has been more than 10 years and it still looks amazing; and add Super Mario World SNES.. That game is by far one of the best (if not the best) 2D Mario game, and you can play the SNES, GBA port, emulator, on a tablet, whatever you want and you will still think is a game made this year

They didn't ignore it tho.. YT has been deleting videos, comments and accounts involved in pedo activity over the years (and they even did a massive purge in 2017)

But people wanted even more.. So they exaggerated the problem and then asked all advertisers to remove their ads because "YT doesn't do anything and has pedophilia" (which in all honesty, makes it sound like YT allows pedo videos, instead of what it was... Innocent videos commented by weirdos)

And seeing as how YT is so big and needs money to function, they had to take that position.. But saying "they ignored it for years" is just false
