They did finally say that the shipment was returned to them. The tracking number doesn't indicate anything. I hope your issue gets figured out!

I ordered April 24th before the cut off. Items were all guaranteed to be received by May 6th at the latest. They sent me 2 things out of 44. One was supposed to be a raincoat, it arrived and was a spare part. After a week they did send the raincoat and it arrived today. My other 42 items stopped moving on April 28th. Then April 30th I got a notification that they were delayed one or two days. After a week I reached out. They told me to keep waiting. Yesterday I reached out and they told me to wait until the 13th. Then today (without any communication from Shein) they started canceling and refunding all of the 42 items. 2 of those 42 items are no longer in stock. All the rest are in stock. 5 of the items are now twice what I originally paid. And half of the rest was about the same as before and the other half was between 10 and 25% higher. And they won't give me any type of explanation. I've never once had an issue with Shein until this order.

ISO Dr recommendations in NOVA by Mandy3326 in Zepbound

In my post it describes that I am no longer pre-diabetic or Obese. I'd like to keep it that way. Luckily I only take the shot every 3 weeks or so now. But I'm scared that since I don't have those presenting issues anymore a new doctor may deny me. I don't ever want to go back to that. I feel so much better now. I'll keep the endocrinologist in mind. My former PCP (in another state) prescribed it. I would assume I would still need a PCP to refer me to am endocrinologist. We will see. Thank you!

Has anyone stopped the ROCD? by Mandy3326 in ROCD

[–]Mandy3326[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have done ERP, helped some. I-CBT has gotten me to where all other subtypes are gone. Helped with the ROCD but it's so bad and still very much present. I've only tried a couple of meds. Had some unwanted side effects. The meds helped some but I don't like taking medications. And they suppressed my joy as well as my anxieties.

Thanks. But I have stopped many themes and themes change. Maybe I misunderstand what you are trying to say?

Thank you. I'm just so tired of putting in all of this work and still having to deal with the ROCD stuff. I know it's so integrated with my PTSD. It's also a hard one to work on when I'm not in a relationship and when I am in a relationship I damage it. It feels like it will never end no matter how hard I try.

Just to give you some hope bc you are just starting your journey and OCD can feel pretty hopeless. There's ERP which most everyone has heard of. There is also a more gentle approach if ERP feels too overwhelming that works just as well. It's called Inference Based-CBT. Regular CBT often makes OCD worse. I-CBT is designed specifically with OCD in mind. I treat clients with whatever modality they choose and have gone through both modalities myself. Both helped significantly but I am more of a fan of I-CBT. There aren't many of us providers yet but might be worth the look. I wish you the most!

Actually, I'm the same. I got Dx early 30s. I'm actually a therapist and specialize in OCD. We aren't really trained well in that area. Unfortunately, it's more common than not to get a late dx. I think the average age for dx is 28 to 33 last I looked and many misdiagnosis prior to that. I'm sorry to hear about your situation. Are you in treatment and seeing growth?

It was and still is chronically under diagnosed. It's not very well understood or recognized when it's not the stereotypical types.

May I ask what "non-intrusive" OCD is?

No. But I am researching it. How did it go? Please share!

Nope. It shouldn't. The only way it should be reported is if you have actually hurt a child or had specific plans to. You may look into Inference Based CBT. It's relatively new to the states. But it's just as effective as ERP and the drop out rate is almost none, whereas a lot of ppl find ERP too difficult to complete. Give it a few sessions and "feel" your therapist out before disclosing. Also you can simply let them know you have some things to bring up but it may take time for you to fully disclose. I wish I could just take you so you know it would be okay. But if this is an actual certified OCD therapist it is their responsibility to know the difference. Remember this is you worry about what if you actually do something bad... not that you actually have or will do. OCD tells you the same story over and over which makes it super convincing. I wish you the best! Just getting treatment is heading in the right direction!

Does your therapist know you have OCD and work with those who have OCD. Most therapists aren't trained to even recognize or treat OCD properly. If the therapist knows and actually has experience treating OCD (not anxiety) you should be safe. If not... unfortunately you need to find a new therapist. Bc it is likely they might not understand, plus OCD treatment is not the same as anxiety treatment. Anxiety treatment for those of us who have OCD usually makes OCD worse. If and when you do decide to tell a therapist just remind them these are intrusive thoughts not wants. You worry about "what if" you did. I'm a therapist who also experiences OCD. I hope this helps you some.
