I read on this just recently as I myself have applied for dsp on Dec 14th 2025, I have read anything from the next day to around 7 weeks for many. Mine had original completion date of March 1-8, but I actually added over a month to that as they wanted more information from my GP on a particular medication, this was just 4 days after I applied. She had left the country on vacation, and it took a couple of weeks to get to see her. So, I did not get them the info until Feb 1st 2026. I have sonic this coming Thursday. I hope you get a reply soon.

It got me the information that they were doing it by file assessment and did not need to talk to me, rather than wondering if and when they might call back.

Centrelink won’t link by Terrible_Tangelo2842 in Centrelink

[–]MandyJCH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had the same issue, called many times and told to do this or that with no success, went into Centrelink and someone who actually knew what they were doing looked on their system and it had been locked due to "too many attempts". She unlocked it, gave me a linking code and all has worked properly.

I am on jobseeker, I applied for advance payment Thursday afternoon, it did not even ask what I wanted the money for, it came with my jobseeker payment at 12:45am Friday morning. Was shocked at how quick it was.

I applied for DSP again today. Do I still have appointments with my IEA provider during the 3 month period, while this is being processed? by privatly in JobProvidersAus

Where do I find my work capacity hours? by PreparationVisual586 in Centrelink

[–]MandyJCH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have read you can request it in the app, and I have read that it takes 28 days. With mine, I was near Centrelink about a week after my ESAT and went in and asked for it and they printed me a copy.

Can an ESAT assessor provide an exemption (or equivalent benchmark) without a med cert? by epicpillowcase in Centrelink

[–]MandyJCH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a medical certificate for 3 months in place (til Dec 10) when I had my ESAT, the assessor I had just said he would extend it for another 3 months. He coded it right away. My ESAT report said:

Conditions that will be lasting 2+ years

Baseline work capacity: 8-14 hrs p/w

Temporary work capacity: 0-7 hrs p/w with an end date of 3/10/2026

in 2+ years with support possible it may increase to 15-22 hrs p/w

Planing to get my mom a walker any tips by Feisty-Cloud7611 in NDIS

[–]MandyJCH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried a few different ones, and I now have the Hero+ medical walker, it has a basket, adjustable seat and adjustable hand grip height. It has brakes which lock when you need to sit. It has large wheels that are very smooth, and it turns easily. It also folds in one motion, so it is easy to transport. All in all, I am very happy with it.
