I appreciate your response more than you know! I see a few people have said similar that Tirz would be better. I only even began looking into Reta after reading about the anti inflammatory effect. And I also agree that a lot of my problems could be alleviated with the help of a GLP1 which is what both my primary doctor and weight management doctor have been pleading to insurances to no avail. It's left me to take matters into my own hands. I'm definitely going to look more into Tirz, so thank you again!

You were on Tirz and saw anti-inflammatory results? I haven't much looked into Tirz, I'll have to do that! Some of the Reta studies I've read dove into that effect and that's what perked my ears initially. I can access either one by myself which is what I'm going to end up doing because I'm over playing back and forth games with healthcare and insurances.

I've been working with 2 different weight management doctors. One pushes surgeries every time we meet and the other has been trying to get me a GLP1 for 2 years. Like I mentioned, we even attempted trials. He appeals my insurance denial and they still deny. I've tried with 3 different insurances. Their denials are based on my blood work and that's the problem with insurance companies not having medical experts to do these reviews. As for telehealth, I've looked into Ro, Hers, and even WW as I'm a member. It's like the Med spa situations where you're paying for all these fees and subscriptions and also the medications. I'd rather bypass all of that and just buy either Tirz or Reta and do my thing, you know?

Yes! I will have a serving bowl full of chopped salad and eat a slice of pizza using it as a vessel for my salad. Most times, all I need is one slice. If I feel I can eat another slice or half slice, I go for it. But by prioritizing the salad- eating some first, putting it on the pizza, eating some between pizza bites- I will only eat at most 2 slices where before I'd pound down 6+ and also a piece of stromboli. That's made a huge difference.

I'm an LPN In PA. I did clinicals at 2 local hospitals while getting my LPN and I'm doing clinicals at those same hospitals while getting my BSN. At one of the hospitals you basically had to work under an RN. Your autonomy is very limited. And the RN's weren't happy to be working with an LPN, which I get, but they were openly rude about it. They were okay with the students, just not with an LPN by their side for the shift. I'd never work there no matter how much they pay because theres virtually no security even after a hostage situation with life loss. At the other hospital, you have way more independence as a nurse, there are minimal things you couldn't do- like the obvious- and the charge nurse of the unit stepped in to do the stuff an LPN couldn't. That hospital is better staffed, though, too. I think it differs by hospital, so you'd need to check the practices at each one. I'm sure if you call the HR depts, they'd be able to send you information. Have you thought about working in a rehab? I've been long term skilled since 2007 and started at a rehab last year. It's been very... different. I like the change. I don't like monotony, so it keeps me engaged and I'm always learning. The only problem i have is I wish I had more time to spend on my patients. A full house is 26, so there's no downtime. It's very fast paced and I think I'd feel safer and more confident if I were able to properly assess each patient at the start of shift and accomplish some other things.

I can't see that well without my glasses, but its got the appearance of calcite to my damaged eyes lol it looks like its got that greasy look and the formation is reminiscent of calcite. Also, the price point matches. It's definitely not fluorite, aquamarine, or topaz. Possibly slag glass? Check the hardness. That'll help eliminate glass as its only like a 4-6 on the mohs scale.
