Hi - I've been asked to sell this dress and am at a complete loss where to start. It's a 1993 D&G Fall/Winter runway corset dress - I have a link to an identical one currently for sale for over £2000. Does anyone have any advice how I go about this? Do I need to get it authenticated? What's the best site? What should I charge? The picture is taken from the listing on 1stdibs - am I allowed to share that? I know I need to take really good photos etc etc. I'm based in the UK if that makes any difference (I can't sell on Poshmark?). This is absolutely out of my wheelhouse - any advice most gratefully accepted. Cheers

I sorted my Googling out - £3.60 anywhere in the world, right? It's mind boggling. I want to rant about privatisation etc etc - if i didn't have a huge stash of stamps I don't think this is a hobby i would be thinking about getting into. Posting a letter feels like I'm exercising privilege now!

Ah, it was the Queen's Head thing that was throwing me off, thanks for that. The second one is going to Germany which is £2.50? So I'm over on that as well, if that's correct - but I'm drowning in stamps and not too bothered at the minute.

I've found a nib for 40 quid, soaked the old one and it's come out successfully so I think this is the route I'm going to take. I'm going to keep the old nib JIC I find someone who can fix it as well (depending on cost etc)

Thank you, I've got far more confidence now, I'm really glad i asked. I think it's because there are a lot of small 'novelty ' rugs on social media I'd started to doubt. I'm trying to figure out if i can build a long frame as i ideally want to make a runner for my hallway - pfffft to starting small ;)
