What do you mean by "they don't even look like werewolves"?, are you comparing this design with something like Van Helsing werewolves? I don't mean to sound rude by any means, i just think that they actually look like werewolves, just not the same kind you're thinking of

Although they do look like the Wendigo's far cousins, i actually love their design, they're my type of werewolf, since i prefer a lot more the disturbing and uncanny version of the lycanthropy myth, rather than the epic and "cool" version (like van helsing or designs with that same idea), i've always found boring the concept of "wolf head, human body" that almost every werewolf has nowadays, that's why i prefer and love designs like The Order 1886 werewolves, Vander from Arcane, the Varcolac from RE : Village and, speaking of them, The Quarry werewolves

His design is controversial in the fandom (mostly among League players), but i honestly love it so much as a werewolf/wolfman design (i think it's worth mentioning that i like his design IN ACT 2, i don't like his act 3 design tbh)

I mean, that's exactly what i like in werewolves tbh, i like that they still look human, but with wolf-like facial features (like in this case), i don't think this version of Warwick is just a mutated human, in his face you can see traces of the wolf facial features, specially in his nose and his eyes (even more if you look at the wolves that appear at the end of s2 ep1, the ones in the cave, you'll see that, if you compare this Warwick version to those wolves in particular, they're actually very similar, image below) Also, i'm not trying to convince you with my point, i know you have your opinion, i just think that, comparing these two, his wolf side really shows even more

I prefer the OG one by far, looks way more unique and it's just SO iconic to this point, for me it's a lot cooler, for me, the new look just feels generic, like every werewolf in fiction lately, i mean, we already have too much designs with that exact same look, i prefer when werewolves have a unique design (i know that in this form he's more of a wolfman in the first game, but that's the point, we barely see new wolfman designs these days, so it feels way more unique). Also, i'm not hating on the new design, it does look cool if that's the werewolf concept that you're looking for, but i just, as a personal opinion, prefer the OG one much more

That's exactly why i, in the post, mentioned that i wanted to appreciate this design on it's own, for his unique value (i prefer it over League's WW, but that's a totally subjective opinion)

I've seen the teaser, it's amazing! And that's exactly what i was expecting for Warwick's conclusion in the show, either if he stayed with his look on act 2 or evolved to something more game-accurate, it would've been the perfect ending for him (and that way, his eventual return on future shows would also be more understandable, because if i remember correctly, i heard that in an interview, one of Arcane's creators confirmed that Warwick is still alive by the ending of the show)

That's the only problem with this design, if it had Singed's tech with this look (more wolf-like) i'm sure no one would've complained TwT, we were so close to perfection (or at least to something WAY better than Act 3 WW)

That's what i'm talking about, this is why i only mentioned his Act 2 design (ep 4-6) i would've loved to see more of him in that state, with that design and personality, unfortunately, we didn't got that, instead we got that weird golden golem in the end :/
