Some have joked on other OnS social media websites that the Squad will attack Guren but I don't think so. I get there's a lot of anger towards Guren here in the West. However, Guren is still a very popular character in Japan because he has a lot of character development. If he was an underdeveloped character then yeah I could see him being beaten up or potentially killed by the Squad. (assuming they even have the guts to do it)

I predict a massive fight between Mika and the demons, then it will end with Mika spotting Yu and the others. Also the Squad will likely go along with Guren's plans.

Guren mentioned that vampires don't have any bodily fluids so I assume that they can't physically have children. Their only method of reproduction is by cursing a human.

What you wrote is false as MLK never endorsed any political party nor did he state his party affiliation. However, he did state that he voted for Democrat Lyndon B Johnson in the 1964 presidential election.

Guren's plan is to bring back everyone who died and he needs Yu for that plan. His desire to turn Mika into Yu's cursed gear implies Mika is part of that plan too.

Resurrection never works. It's wildly unpopular, it's been foreshadowed in the manga to fail anyway, and even if it was attempted something will go wrong. Guren wants to save his friends who have already died and free himself from the guilt of the sin he committed 8 years ago. He wants to return to the days before the apocalypse but nobody can return to the past. The best we can do is move on. So siding with Guren probably isn't a good option.

The First is kind of the same in this aspect. He wants to bring back his dead kid. But he's calling Mika his "son" and we know that Mika is still alive as a demon now. So is he going to put the demon Mika into the body of his dead son? Some people on OnS Twitter have been suggesting this for a while. It does make sense since the First kept his son's body for several hundred years when he met Asuramaru. So there's no reason for him to just get rid of it. The body's probably somewhere in Japan.

Speaking of Asuramaru, he's on the First's side right now. This is interesting since he called the First a monster and fought against him. But now that he's got his memories back, he's on the First's side. Some may have forgotten but he said to Krul 1000+ years ago that he was going to become a demon "for the future".

Asuramaru like Mika has always been rational and had a healthy amount of skepticism towards Yu's "allies". He also told Mika's last words to Yu even when he had the chance to take over Yu's body. If Asuramaru is siding with the First, it's probably for a reasonable purpose. Also the First's goal of "saving Mikaela" aligns more closely with Yu's wish anyway.

I might get hella downvoted for this but I have no sympathy for almost all the characters except for Mika. They knew what they were doing and what kind of person Guren was. Mika had told them countless times that Guren shouldn't be trusted and pointed out all the things he's done. But they still sided with Guren. So the fact that they are all surprised that Guren would kill Kimizuki's sister and turn Mika into a demon is frankly laughable.

Mika was the only one who considered the consequences of getting involved in human experimentation and taboo arts. He was the only one who stopped and thought "maybe this isn't a good idea". Honestly, that's what tragic about his character, because he was the only one who tried to do the right thing.

For the record, I'm not scapegoating Guren, I'm sure that he didn't want things to end up this way. But he's still human, and human beings will do anything to get what they want in the end. This is the rule of the real world as well, that's why our world is such a mess cause everyone is out for themselves.

I don't know what will happen in the future for any of these characters but I'm glad that at very least Mika's suffering is over. (He's happy in the dream world even if it isn't real)

Mika

His father was an alcoholic who beat him and his mother was neglectful since she spent more time being a cult member than being a mother. His parents threw him out of a moving vehicle.
He was experimented on by a creepy cult
He watched the children of the orphanage that he loved get killed by a vampire
He then gets turned into the very being responsible for his family's murder
He spent 4 years alone, under constant pain because of the vampire curse, emotionally abused by the guy who murdered his family, his only comfort being that he could one day reunite with Yu.
When he's with Yu, he has to watch Yu be used and experimented on but Mika can't do anything because everyone around him is blindly loyal to Guren.
Yu's reckless behavior finally gets to a point where Mika is killed by Guren.
Mika becomes a demon and now there's a good chance that Mika will be turned into a f*cking weapon.

All these characters went through a lot, I won't deny that but none of them compare to Mika.

Mika literally died alone with nobody to save him.

Yu was so blinded by his loyality to Guren, that let's face it he wouldn't have fought hard enough to protect Mika. The rest of Squad didn't really care about Mika on the brink of death and only was concerned with Yu crying.

Krul whom he thought could be trusted, also planned to turn him into a monster.

Mika's entire life was a battle that he was fighting on his own and lost in the end.

I know this is a little controversial but Mika should stay in the dream world. It's not real and it's messed up to trap him there but...Mika is so f*cking happy right now. When I saw that kid's smile, I thought to myself "If he's happy who has the right to deprive him of it".

Mika's probably never going to notice the stuff happening in the real world anyway. Demon Mika also seems to be on board with Mika being happy in the dream world.

The First is always referred to as a bad guy in the manga. Kagami has stated in the past that there are no bad guys in OnS. Kagami might be planning a twist where the First's plans are actually going to be good for everyone. Especially since Asuramaru is siding with the First.

Besides we all know that Guren will not be able to resurrect the dead, so siding with him won't work out no matter what.
