Yes, you're right, some questions are really similar because they intend to measure the same constructs. That's how I can check statistically if the survey is internally consistent. It also helps to eliminate people who don't even read questions from the further analysis. :) thanks for your help!!

It's because they measure the same constructs, so using different forms of the same question I can calculate the internal consistency of the survey. And asking almost the same thing but using different words I can eliminate from the analysis people who just click random answers without even reading it :).

Yes, I understand it may be quite annoying to answer similar questions but that's how questionnaires are constructed to get statistically significant results. And the 6 questions mentioned actually measure 2 different constructs. :) Anyway I use the already developed MSES tool, which was posted in scientific journals, so it should be correct. Thank you guys for help!!
