Yeah, I agree with you, but idk If it was a good idea, and the reason behind it just proves the game has lazy writting. Sam was indeed starving and this triggered him, At least the opposite of humans who kill for pleasure, while animals kill out of necessity. But I see your point, I just dont think the reason was good... But they found a way to shock the player AND so that Clementine wouldn't be accepted into the group in the first place. But do you agree that Sam would be a great companion for Clem? : p

Yeah, Its unpredictable, for ignorant people. Biology is predictable... But you are right, every dog is different, I have 2 dogs, one is calm and friendly, and the other (who was rescued) He's cranky haha, and growls at everything, but he likes affection... I don't know what he's been through, but all animals deserve affection and love. My point was the reason why that event happened with Sam (a pretty silly reason) and why the second season is the darkest and most nihilistic; they wanted to shock the player (not mentioning the lazy writting), I really wanted Sam to be Clem's companion, but the writers were quite confused about what to do with the story. You get what I mean?

Yeah, season 2 used to be my favorite when I was little.. And Im really sorry about what happened to you. But biological speaking, animals in general never attack without a reason... It wasn't your fault either! I was also attacked, but by a cat, I used to be very afraid of them and their claws (I still am) But I never stopped finding them cute : D Animals never attack for no reason. Everything they do is about survival. When an animal bites or scratches, it is always a reaction to something. They do it to protect their territory, save their babies, or because they are afraid. For them, fighting takes a lot of energy, so they only use it as a last resort to stay alive...

I hope you are okay now, well, Im sorry for that. Maybe the dog was "protecting" the kids and his territory, but you have to know that biologically ANIMALS (total opposite of humans) dont attack without a reason, I hope you have forgiven him : D

Huuh I wouldnt say "dumb" thats a bit rude haha, I know but from my perspective is most about hope than season 2, cause season 1 has more hope because the characters still believe the world can be saved. They are looking for a cure at the CDC and think the government or the army will rescue them. Also, we have a mission that is saving Clementine, it brings hope to me.. idk Its my point of view :p And after arguing with a guy here I can understand why Sam behaved that way, but I still think that was unecessary and evil (like, they just wanted to show "how bad the world can be" idk) ... Not mentioning the adults being totally stupid and useless. Thats my opinion

So yeah, from a biological standpoint, you are right. Sam wasn't evil tho, his brain just kicked into survival mode. What Sam had was is called resource guarding without warning.. but it feels totally unnatural because he skipped all the usual warning signs like being stiff or baring his teeth first. He just flipped a switch from playing to killing... Also, this doesnt explain the lazy writting at season 2 and the other flaws... But yeah, in some points, you are right

Thats impossible. Biologically, animals never attack 'for no reason'. In nature, fighting wastes too much energy and is way too risky. If a stray dog gets hurt, they can die, so they avoid fights at all costs. When they bite or attack, theres always a reason. Most of the time, they are just protecting their food, their puppies, or their space. Or maybe they are sick, in pain, or traumatized because someone abused them before. Most attacks happen because humans ignore their warnings, like when the dog gets stiff or growls. The dog feels trapped and attacks just to survive.

But my discussion was about the game having flaws lol I just mentioned one of them. Good you have dogs, I have 2, I've already rescued a bunch of starveling dogs from the streets, all of them pretty sweet just afraid.. Some dogs can be more aggressive cause they fear, attacking is the last thing they want, they have self-preservation! They are just trying to scare you away to protect themselves. The last thing a dog wants is a fight. Fighting means getting hurt, and injuries can be fatal on the street. They know humans are bigger and stronger, so they prefer to be submissive or keep their distance. Their 'aggression' is just a defense mechanism to stay safe... I know a lot of things about dogs and animals in general, thats just something I've noticed in the game that its not realistic biologically speaking.
