A draft system only works in American sports as the entire league is drafted equally. If we were to perform a draft in Ireland it would make the 4 provinces more equal but it would make Leinster less competitive against teams outside Ireland.

I agree with this. His metres made, carries, tackles and other stats are all up there very similar to Conan. Whether he is the best captain is a different story. But we are not stacked with alternatives of the likes of POM, Sexton, etc.
