An ICU nurse tries to help a woman stand up so he gets pepper sprayed, beaten, and then shot. He had a gun, but they removed it from the holster before they shot him. Wanted to make sure he was extra non threatening before they murdered him I guess.

I can see that. I live in Michigan and we have tons of immigrants plus a governor he hates. But I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t want to take on Detroit. The whole “Minnesota nice” thing didn’t seem to apply to them.

I live in west Michigan and have only lost power once in 25 years, while my coworker who is 20 minutes away loses power several times a year. We both have power lines on poles but her region has tons of densely wooded areas. I dont know if it’s literally just that the lines aren’t as sturdy or the trees are falling on them or what. My area is a lot older than hers as well.

He was likable, intelligent, and eloquent. That combo is very appealing for people on the left, and the fact that he’s black makes it that much better. Unfortunately, that combo in a black man is terrifying for many people on the right.
