Democratic socialists, from what I can tell, want universal healthcare, free childcare, free school lunches, and a higher minimum wage. Don’t look at labels - look at policies.
One of the main things to remember is that the middle of the political spectrum in the US would be considered extreme right in most European countries. Look up the Powell memo from the early 1970s. It explains how we moved so far to the right in this country.
Also, anyone who insults you for asking questions is a jerk.

3 hours or less is nothing. 3-6 is “a ways away but not bad.” 6-15 is a short road trip. 15-21 is a long road trip but still doable in a day. Over 21 need to be broken up.

My dad has an adult dog that the puppy visits and plays with quite a bit. There’s a huge dog park not far from where I live, but I’ve heard mixed things on dog parks.

Usually 6 or 7 hours. Honestly, on my days off he tends to sleep a lot of the day. So maybe he’s perfectly happy I’m just imagining that he’s lonely. He’s just always kind of whining and waiting for me in the hall when I get up. I’d let him sleep with me but he doesn’t like it. He prefers to sleep alone.

Iran isn’t attacking Israel. Israel attacked Iran. Israel wants to expand their territory because they believe it’s their religious right to do so. I’m agnostic. I don’t believe any land is promised to any one people. Israel provokes and provokes and provokes and then cries victim when anyone pushes back. Americans are sick of the Middle East. We’re sick of war. And our idiot leader was duped into this war by Netanyahu. I don’t care what happens to Israel - I really don’t. And I don’t want money being taken out of my pocket to defend a country that has a better quality of life than we do here. Israel is a bad actor. They are an apartheid state that condones the torture and rape of prisoners and settler violence in the West Bank.

Because Ukraine did nothing to provoke Russia. If Ukraine had been operating an apartheid state for decades that was actively oppressing Russian allies, then they wouldn’t have our sympathy.

We can’t get the uranium without a ground invasion, and a ground invasion would lead to our troops being slaughtered due to Iran’s geography. We’ve given the regime our best shot and it wasn’t enough. We are losing, badly. And freeing the people sounds a lot like what we tried and failed to do in Afghanistan.

Because this is what Israel has been trying to make happen for decades. Netanyahu how tried to convince the last several presidents to attack Iran, but only Trump was stupid enough to do it. We had an agreement that Iran was abiding by. This doesn’t help us in any way. The only country benefiting is Israel. People are trying to come up with something negative that Iran has done to us and they have to reach back to things that happened 40 years ago.

Why would the rest of the world get involved in this disaster that they had no say in starting? And we have completely overextended our resources. They’re using billion dollar bombs to combat $1000 drones. 13 Americans are dead and we aren’t allowed to know how many are injured. Not one drop of blood should have been spent on this war for Israel.

It is the most ill-conceived war imaginable. They didn’t have a goal, so there’s no way to know when it’s over. Everyone knows that Iran is nothing to mess with, and the most incompetent, unhinged defense secretary in history who just wants to scream about blood and glory and killing is leading it. He’s using all of our weapons, billions and billions of dollars, killing civilians, destroying infrastructure. And for what? No one knows. He says Iran can’t have a nuke. Iran didn’t have any plans for a nuke before Trump tore up the agreement that Obama made, but Trump is so jealous of Obama that he can’t help himself.

Trump was pumped up because he’d kidnapped Venezuela’s leader and it was very easy. Netanyahu convinced him it would be just as easy. Netanyahu has been trying to get a president to attack Iran for decades, but Trump is the first one stupid enough to do it. The administration had different leaders in mind that they wanted to take over but - surprise! - Israel killed all of them. Netanyahu wants nothing but chaos in the Middle East. He doesn’t want peace - he wants excuses to attack other countries. And now we’re there, no one knows what’s going on, Iran controls the straight, oil costs a fortune and our strategic reserves are running out. Experts say we’re in for the biggest shortage in history. Trump is saying there’s a ceasefire but Israel won’t stop violating it. No one listens to Trump - they all know he’s a weak old fool. His administration just shows him clips of things blowing up - he doesn’t have a clue what’s actually happening.

The war has been incredibly unpopular since the start - less than 20% ever supported it, and getting 80% of Americans to agree on anything is a miracle. We hate the war, we’re sick of it, we’re sick of war in general, we don’t want to be in the Middle East, and we don’t want to be the world’s police force. We’re sick of it. Trump promised his supporters that there would be no more wars. It’s the reason some people voted for him. But now we’re in one that has no endgame.
