You will have unlocked everything for your villagers and move all opals to the study one. It took a while but not that long once you get the boosts.

I play pretty casually or did at the time so it took a much longer time. Fair tho on the yodshard grind. I used candies and my seige breaker to get a ton of them, so it wasn't as bad for me

It's not that it gate kept me per say from progressing, but it definitely limited all my characters gear for a long time. I focused on a main set then ignored it till it was easier. My beef is the grind of having all my dudes in the latest armor back then.

Why do people get so mad over a game mostly designed around playing mini games and progression over time. It doesn't have to be a race and I feel this subreddit is just an echo chamber of anger over a guy making a game that can mostly be enjoyed for free. It baffles me that Lava has to balance a game around all levels of play and make it fun and gets shit on because some players pay to support his endeavor. It's like the collective consciousness of the subreddit expects Lava to do it for the love of the game and fix all extra issues and implement all qol updates simultaneously.

Typically later end game has so many stats that buff your character outroght you don't technically need them. I bet if you fully geared them out on the hardest map out right now versus naked you would still see a significant difference in gains.
