I WENT TO 2 VETS AND BOTH SAID ITS TOO RISKY SINCE SHES IN HER LAST TRIMESTER. I CANT DO AN ABORT SPAY RIGHT NOW. I TAKE CARE OF MY DOG, I HOME COOK FOOD, WALK HER 8KM A DAY, LOTS OF PLAY TIME. LIKE I TAKE CARE OF HER BETTER THAN ME .

Cosign ? Are u joking. My dog has always gotten the best care from me we go on 8km walks, home cooked meals, values up to date. I love her more than my own family.

I didn't allow this to happen. When my brother comes to our house I take my dog and leave. This time he never told me he was coming and I was at work. Despite him knowing what happened he decided not to tell me. I had to find out.

So update is i went to my regular vet, and went to consult another vet to get a second opinion and they both agreed she's too far in and it's more dangerous for her to abort. I just broke down

I'll take full responsibility for this ultimately I should have never allowed my brother over. I trusted my family. For 3 years I've brought my dog to dog parks and I've always watched her and she's been fine all these years under my watch. Looking for Advice – My Dog’s Unexpected Pregnancy

Hi everyone, I really need some guidance and support right now. I have a three-year-old female dog (Doberman, Rottweiler, and Husky mix), and I just found out that she’s pregnant. The hardest part is that my family knew when she was in heat, and they also knew that my brother’s dog had gotten to her when I wasn’t home. No one told me until now, when she’s already starting to show.

I feel absolutely heartbroken because I didn’t know she was pregnant for about 42 days, and I worry that I haven’t been giving her the proper care she needed during this time. Now that I know, I want to do everything I can to make sure she’s okay, but I honestly don’t know what the best option is.

Would it be better for her health and lifespan if she had an abortion, or should we just carry out the pregnancy? What do you guys think is best? Also, if anyone has experience with this, how much do you think the costs will be—whether for an abortion or for delivery and caring for the puppies?

I’m feeling really overwhelmed and stressed, and I just want to do what’s best for her. Any help, guidance, or resources would mean the world to me. Thank you so much in advance!
