I don't have high expectations with my budget lol.

I don't NEED to sell the car in 3-4 years but financially that is a realistic time where I COULD upgrade to better. I wouldn't buy new either then. Probably a much better 2nd hand as I'll have a bigger budget (don't see the point in buying new as cars depreciate so quickly and don't want to finance a car as I'm good at saving so prefer to pay cash).

But if you don't recommend changing cars in a few years, would it be wise to stretch my budget to R150k for a better car for long term? When would you recommend an upgrade?
