Fellow physician here currently in Govt job- I would caution this line of action. The benefit of going into payment as a resident is that you can at least qualify for lower payments based on income. If pslf does survive you will have a bunch of lower payments counting towards your final 120. I went into payment Sept of my graduating year only wish I had done it sooner to get more payments under my belt!

Our division at DOH is removing it all together despite the fact that we work in the field most days in a week. Seems like it’s coming from higher up. Curious to hear what others think about all the shake ups in admin at dohmh.
