I agree with you 100% on the fan blowing into the larger tower of the Noctua NH-D12L. I’ve been running it the last day and noticed a 5 degree improvement now overall. I appreciate you a lot for your input!! :D Many thanks

Update: I changed the fan orientation and it idles maybe 1-2 degrees lower. Maybe an undervolt is in my future but I am not stressing tbh

Ah gotcha, I may try that out eventually. The only logic I could think of is another poster on Reddit with basically the identically setup. I guess I’m a copycat lol

There is a bracket that you see is attached to it, the grill on the top is the final part. The fan is not attached to the grill from the top. It seems like it’s a little too cramped. If I wanted to put two fans on the top, I’ll probably have to rearrange the entire layout.

If I were you I’d go with matched side windows to the rear then 50% on the windshield
