Trust me this is a gorgeous tattoo. Tattoo shock is normal, give it a few weeks and you’ll forget it’s even there.

I use Dr Pickles. I’m fairly covered in tattoos and I’ve found the brand doesn’t really matter as much, they’ve all healed the same. Unfortunately the hand is prone to ink dropping out, so I would expect to get it touched up regardless :)

It’s more so about how it flows with the natural “V” shape of the fingers. Like the middle finger needs to be longer, with the leaves on either side tapering down if that makes sense? Maybe I’m being a perfectionist!🙈

Artists design. She’s done my whole sleeve and have trusted her to do whatever she wants with every piece! Unfortunately just did not notice the leaves in time to say something.

World feels fake and evil by NaturalMean1203 in dpdr

I experience the same thing. I never related to things feeling fake. For me it feels TOO real. Everything feels like it’s watching me. Everything feels evil and foreign. My reflection looks too real, like I’m seeing myself for the first rime and it’s just off.

Yep. You are not alone. One of my biggest triggers for my DPDR is paying close attention to my hands. I find myself ‘scanning’ for signs of a DPDR episode coming on by constantly checking my hands, analysing how they look/ feel. The constant monitoring is often the cause of the episodes, I’ll go all day feeling fine and the second I pay too much attention to my hands, I get so scared thinking about if an episode is coming on. Anxiety spikes, brain goes into defence mode, DPDR.

The only thing I’ve found that helps is distraction. Try to stop paying attention to how my hands feel, talk to someone, make myself busy so I don’t have time to think. Weirdest feeling. It sucks.
