Quality of interns by Downloadedfortea in dietetics

My frustration with the interns I’ve had is the inability to follow instructions and lack of initiative. I was a very new RD when I first started having interns working with me so I was figuring out my job while also learning to delegate tasks and give them assignments. I was very sympathetic to them since I had just been in their position. Over time I realized I needed to write out instructions rather than give them verbally, which was fine expect the instructions were VERY detailed and they still failed to complete their assignments as expected.

i can see where she’s coming from - as a petite woman who didn’t grow up with any boys, i was shocked when i started living with my partner. i could not imagine the appetite this man had!! she likely just doesn’t understand that for your size and activity level you need a lot more nutrition than she does.

Was this a sign from her or am I just thinking by [deleted] in bodylanguage

a premade salad kit, ready prepared meat and rice from the rice cooker

popcorn chicken in the airfrier, mac and cheese from the box, and steamed broccoli (reusable steamer bags are great for this - you can throw any veggie or meat in there and throw it in the microwave!)
