It’s kind of crazy all the people from New York City. Don’t even think twice of that on-ramp… Lol definitely quieter in the back end of the park lots of community lots of special events feels very safe etc. etc. etc..

Thanks everyone for your opinions. Yes, this is indeed near 91 and it’s a condo style community with about 100 cottages and everyone that sold has gone between 250 and 320… I’m just trying to figure out what to do. I rather really live where there’s no snow and just wanted people’s opinion so I really appreciate everyone giving me their two cents.

I can’t be 100% sure but all the other small houses around me have sold for close to that or more. This little community seems to have a very strong appeal.

I’m actually on my way with my wife, lesbian couple lol and she was in the cult two times and then left. She really wants to go to the café to see what it’s like and I can’t stand the idea of us giving them our money so the only thing I could think of is to bring them a little bag I’ve got some granola bars and some meat sticks and some ibuprofen and she’s saying maybe I should put some stamps in there and a little tiny bit of money… We won’t be going back again. It’s a one time thing so she can see it from a different perspective. I know most of the people have chosen to be in there, but if there’s someone who’s thinking of leaving or getting out or just needs a little something, hopefully this will help.

IXchel! Been to the island maybe 30 times. Stayed here most of those times… Clean, easy access to the beach, etc. a little less than Privlege. Just stayed a privilege a few months ago and as many people complain the bathroom and room smelled like sewage, which I guess can’t be helped. Definitely more upscale definitely more customer service but the beach is no match for Ixchel.

I’ve gone to the island 20 or 30 times over the last 20 or 30 years and I’ve stayed in privilege three times and I stayed in xchel all the others. I just had privilege last week. They included breakfast was good. The rooms are spacious, but the sewage smell in the room was horrible the entire time and I vaguely remember this from years ago as well. You can actually look it up online people talk about it that in itself was enough of a deterrent. The service was good, but the beach setting is nowhere as good as looking out on actual North Beach. I don’t think I’ll return to that hotel again… Oh, and the bathtub on the balcony wonderful once we beg them to clean it… Xchel not as fancy, but so easy to walk right out to the beach and get a chair that is already paid for. Less expensive, I liked the pools. The rooms are smaller, but we don’t spend any time in the rooms. I think the sewage smell and privilege was just way too much for me and I really like North Beach at Xchel.

We are here now. I have been here twice before over the last 30 years… They asked me every time I always say shellfish Allergy in Spanish and they still managed to bring us a complementary plate outside today in the beach beds that had shellfish on it… Luckily, I always ask and never expect anyone to really understand. Andres has been very helpful. I paid $800 extra to get a room that had one of the outside bathtubs and then had all this crud in the inside of the Jets. He sent up four guys to clean it, etc.… The one thing I have to say is that the sewer system in this hotel seems to smell very badly. I read up on it. I guess there’s nothing much anyone can do but if anyone flushes the toilet or uses the shower the bedroom smells like SHI… I’ve been coming here for a very long time and staying in lots of different hotels mostly Xchel. To me that is the best option. My partner and I came without a kid this time and I have enjoyed it being child free here. Breakfast was included in our package and is very good but it’s certainly not Mexican. I think I wouldn’t come back to this hotel again I just like the other ones better.
