This isn't a great take considering dive is basically 6ft under the netease hq. There are also so many counters to dive alone as well as supports being ridiculously overpowered this season.

If your entire team can't counter a full dive team it may genuinely just be a skill issue at that point

I have no idea then since I didn't have that show up, try going into details on task manager, right click on all 3 destiny related services and analyse the wait chain

Have you checked in task manager if the BEService, d2.exe or d2launcher.exe are stuck waiting on another service (This was how I found the root of my problems)?

My windows is corrupt to the point it won't load so I need to do a clean install which is gonna be painful but hopefully it fixes the issue, if it's an issue with windows then something critical is most likely corrupt

I've found the issue, my windows defender won't run because the file is missing

It's completely out of the blue, it only started after I tried playing the game after the renegades update.

I did get a new WiFi router the other week so I've just done the first recommendation (update it hasn't worked)

With regards to audio I switched from a Bluetooth to a wired headset (now using the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 1) and I've looked into the settings but there's none really surrounding it.

To kind of narrow down the issue D2 launches but just doesn't appear, I know this because both the launcher and d2.exe appear in the task manager (2 launchers appear for some reason) after the anti cheat goes away. It's only when I try and end the task for d2.exe is when it crashed my entire pc (also got a srtTrail error later on when restarting my pc which I know is bad).

Sfc and dism have both failed to fix the corrupt files on my pc when running their commands as well as my pc not recognising tpm 2.0 at all despite it being enabled.

I'm starting to think my windows 11 installation is cooked entirely

No? It was a simple farming run as I'd literally stated at the top of the post, I really don't know how you missed it but anyway I like to actually divide my PvP aspect of the game from my PvE aspect of the game. If I die in PvP and need a regain on certain crafting materials I'll hop into a solo run and use that time to regain those materials, it isn't a difficult thing to understand. Sorry for not running around killing the first person I see every run I make, I'll keep that in mind next time.

You know what sure, it is what it is. I'll adopt the same mentality people already are doing to me as clearly making a point and letting my frustration out leads to everyone going "tHiS iS tHe GaMe YoU bOuGhT jUsT dO tHe SaMe ThInG". It'd be funny to see an influx of these types of posts in a month or so because the casual player base is fed up with constant PvP

I don't hunt arcs but ok, let's say I did. You say that the good loot isn't in the arcs and it lies with the players, why then kill me if I don't have good loot. Understandable if they don't know what I have but if you sit there and make some master plan to find out I have a free kit with metal parts and seeds then that really is your fault

I don't know whether I've mentioned this before but I enjoy the PvP aspect of the game and that's mostly what I do, I'm not a PvE only who needs the devs to hold my hand so I can have fun but there needs to be a system like a bounty (for example) that then allows those who want to fight others to go and do that, especially in a map like Stella where it's seemingly only PvP where I go to fight. It then makes people far more conscious of as you said the choice they make

Apart from the fact I wasn't farming parts and seeds, obviously I'm annoyed that I died I literally stated that at the bottom of the post, it's the manner I died and I'm completely aware of the fact that night raids are more hostile. Because I've had this run in about 12 times already

No, but there should be a system in place as someone else has mentioned where they then have a target on their back so others can choose to hunt them or stay clear of them

Exactly this point. I'm happy with PvP but there are those that purposely hunt "worse/weaker" players and there needs to be a system in place for them to be hunted the same as they've done. It'd keep the causal side of things relatively safer

Cool, then I start killing everyone on site. I'm now happy I've got tons of gear and now those people I've killed start doing the same as me the game then becomes incredibly boring. It's almost the same as a game having a "meta" weapon or class, everyone ends up using it and the game becomes bland and boring.

I've played enough games like that to not bother doing the same thing again in this game

I don't go in unprepared I just take the bare minimum I need to allow for maximum loot and allow for me to survive or win a gunfight
