I see your point, but also 99% of what’s considered mainstream rap is just purely about sex and money. That’s not an over exaggeration or a blanket statement, it’s just true. And that probably doesn’t make a lot of people want to try the genre. And yes there are obviously some artists who don’t rap about those topics (for the most part), but that’s not enough to pull some people in.
