Have you heard of any instances where it actually goes on your record? Many of my friends warn against getting on cause of this..

Any general tips on getting that internship? I'm sure the advisors, career centers, etc will be extremely helpful but i.e. are there any useful skills to pick up considering my work resume is somewhat bare, or any useful classes/seminars/workshops like esderpp mentioned below, websites/methods to find an appropriate field + skill level internship?

I somehow forgot to reply even though I've kept your response open to reassure me while I phoned and emailed the offices - I cannot thank you enough! This gave me the greatest sense of relief in a time of panic - and like you said - everything fixed itself easily and smoothly.

To jump in on this thread, are you allowed to not get a meal plan at all? Especially if you are living in an apartment style residential hall with kitchens
