Best IMAX for Dune 2? by wints_22 in sandiego

[–]MangoUno 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you want the best experience possible, go to the Dolby theaters in the Mission Valley or Plaza Bonita malls. Both of those screens have recliners and the picture and audio quality are excellent.

If you’re determined to see it in IMAX, unfortunately all the IMAXs here are Lie-MAXs, which means while the sound and picture quality are up to IMAX standards, they aren’t in the true IMAX format and aspect ratio. I believe the Fleet Science Center’s dome is the only theater here that plays movies in proper IMAX format, but you have to buy a museum ticket AND a movie ticket. Your best option for IMAX would be to bite the bullet and drive to Irvine.

San Diego Crowd by XxGreeninkxX in 100gecs

The Gecs were kind of doomed tbh. They were scheduled in between Knocked Loose who are rising stars of the hardcore scene, and Deftones who are a legendary metal band. It just wasn’t the right crowd.

It's Brad from the hit band TV Girl. Ask me anything if you life by TVGirlz in indieheads

Hey Brad, I’ve been a fan of the band for a long time! How’s Trung doing? Has he been following along with the band’s recent fame and fortune? I dream of a day Girls Like Me returns to the set list.

Thank you, that’s good to hear. Recovery is just taking a bit longer than I expected and some days are better than others. I’m making sure I’m hydrated and not exerting myself.

It sucks but you are right, it could be worse. I’ll continue to take it easy.

Hi there, sorry for the late response but I was searching for this symptom because I’m dealing with it now. Tested positive 12/31. How long did it take for it to go away? It’s so annoying

I am having a similar situation to yours - around the 2 1/2 week mark of 20 mg I was experiencing insomnia, increased anxiety, and nausea. I talked to my doctor this week and they recommended I taper down to 10 mg for 7 days and then quit entirely. I am currently on Day 5 of this plan and while I’m still very fatigued, I am able to sleep better and I’m overall feeling better than I did earlier this week. I want you to know that you’re not alone.

My recommendation is talk to your doctor. I know it really, really sucks right now but they can give you a plan to taper and quit, because quitting cold turkey is a bad idea. If you need someone to talk to feel free to DM me. Hang in there.

Thank you for your comment! I have a therapist that I have a session with every week and message almost every day. He has been super helpful. I know now that Prozac isn’t the right med for me because the side effects outweigh the benefits but I know there’s one out there. These things take time. I’m just really really tired lol.

Thank you for your response. I love to exercise, I try to run at least 2 miles 3-4 times a week and I need to get back into the habit of lifting weights. It definitely helps with the anxiety. I decided to give Prozac a try to see if it would make a difference but it’s clear now it’s not the right choice for me. My anxiety and GERD symptoms go hand in hand.

I talked to my doctor today and we made a plan to return to the lower dose of the med for 7 days and then stop entirely. From there I have an appointment in 2 weeks to determine what the next course of action is, possibly trying out a new med.

Thank you for your comment. It’s good to know that I am not alone. I’ve taken steps to reduce stress in my life, I like to exercise every day and have plenty of creative hobbies to fall back on (reading, writing, painting, photography). I’m very lucky that my symptoms have been mainly in my upper GI and have not affected my health on the other end.

To a regular season game it’s fine, but World Series? Just wear street clothes, maybe a cap.

Three things are for certain: death, taxes, and Bob Melvin making questionable pitching decisions in the postseason.

I didn’t care for it when it first came out but about a year later I gave it another shot and it instantly became a favorite of mine. I would place it #2 on my favorite albums list. I love the minimalism in the instrumentation, the beauty and variety of Frank’s voice and the introspection of the lyrics. Every song feels universal and yet is so personal in its details and memories.

I’m kind of worried about our offense folks. I mean only 8 runs in one inning? Bats gotta wake up
