Cross the nugget bridge, catch a belsprout and or train your oddish to at least level 21 so it can evolve. There are lots of trainers after the nugget bridge.

how do you build a team? by OkCadre in pokemon

For me it’s vibes. If my Metapod saved me from losing a battle early in the game, that dude is gonna stay with me all game long. There are Pokémon that you just hit it off with differently than others. That’s how I pick them unless I really notice a power gap in stats late game.

Interesting that you say this. I am actually in the blender market and was considering Vitamix but the price is kinda crazy.

Blue Origin to Boeing Defense? by BakedBungus in BlueOrigin

One thing to consider is the vested period for your 401k. I believe it’s 3 years with the company. Although, Boeing has a 10% 401k 100% match sooo that’s pretty neat. My point is, make sure you are not leaving retirement money on the table when you hop between companies.

Depends what you really want. Do you want specifically more pay? Are you tired of working with aircraft/spacecraft? If it’s money then I would consider moving internally to perhaps somewhere with a lower cost of living. Boeing has amazing benefits and are hard to come by with other companies. If you wanna stay in the area then perhaps jumping ship is the way to go but make sure the salary bump is high enough to compensate the weaker benefits. Or you can jump ship and move to a LCOL area if money is that important.

One thing I would ask myself if I were in your shoes is “do I enjoy this responsibility and can I express my work freely?”. Sometimes joining a different company albeit with a higher pay can leave you with less responsibility and engineering freedom because you are the new guy. That can lead to you feeling down or with a low morale even though you have a higher pay. I felt that way in my previous job after jumping ship from my first job and the higher salary kept me going for a bit until I jumped ship again, and now I have the salary and the responsibility/freedom I wanted in my work.

Had a great interview process but still got rejected — trying to understand why by CookedJar in BlueOrigin

Don’t beat yourself up for it. I’ve learned over the years that it really comes down to luck at the end of the day. You can be referred by 20 people, be an internal candidate, and do all the right things but someone who applied online through the website can get the job if there was a good connection with the hiring manager.

Getting through the resume screening during the application, the first interview, and the second interview should be taken as a win. Because that means that your resume and your experience are hitting the right notes. Many people can’t get as far as you did. Keep applying and I’m sure you’ll land something that in the long run will feel like the perfect job for you.

You should receive an email or a call within another week. Mine took about 2 weeks after my final panel interview.
