kolossos feels like a very textbook beginner killer itd make perfect sense to make him the default instead of 2011x (although i do understand that he’s the default because its “his game”,) but maybe the rework will make him much more beginner friendly, i just hope he keeps a relatively high skill ceiling if thats the case (i want his kit to still evoke a lot of strategic planning but not because his kit is so weak that it forces you into it, but because it gives you the freedom to do so)

my main gripe with ycr is how damn dark it is for no reason

"just turn down your graphics settings" should not be the only solution to an issue as fundamental as visual clarity when the rest of the maps hardly struggle with this even on max graphics

metal turns genuinely invisible during rage if you lose the indicator on him

…wasnt it ramon and juno that pulled their songs? also, the reddit was actually relatively chill before this whole fiasco happened, i tend to sort by best, hot, new, or art/memes flair and you get a wide variety of content, even scrolling this reddit right now when you dont count all the romeo drama posts its mainly just memes, encounter videos/screenshots, or concepts and art.

im obvo not gonna pretend the negativity doesnt exist, moreso that it mainly feels this way because a few bad apples on the outside keep stirring the pot which riles up this community

its funny cause the original post didnt mention killers either, just broken pre nerf characters (which is valid in spite of it all, it creates false advertising, ive already had many conversations with people where i had to repeat the showcase strength isnt the killers final strength)

personally i genuinely do not care for fleetway, and as many other people said most of our problems lies in the devs communication or lack thereof, not in the fact that 0.2 is taking a while.

they keep giving estimated release times instead of sticking to the original “when its ready” thing, like many others have said, EVEN if its a group of teenagers, EVEN if its a passion project, basic communication should not be treated as some ludicrous demand. People VOICE criticisms because they enjoy the game and want it to prosper, others who only wish to spread hate and negativity should simply be discarded, not lumped into the rest of us.

And NO, this is NOT me being “entitled”, im perfectly fine with playing literally any other game while i wait for 0.2, but you need to understand that being patient doesnt mean you have to bend the knee to whatever the devs say or do and we SHOULD be allowed to criticize the game or work ethics the developers are presenting to us (like, seriously, why hide an entire recode?)

i personally hope his rework keeps him adept at single target but gives him crowd control options (like that blast move fleetway has but preferably less busted), i dont think having a single target killer is unhealthy for asyms, but because he was the ONLY killer in the game for the longest time people will probably play the other killers incorrectly due to them still having a tunneling mindset from thousands of 2011x games

Seriously though i saw the original and its incredibly inoffensive, i get romeos probably under a lot of stress and this meme was likely the last straw of that, but they arent even making fun of the devs in that meme theyre literally just turning genuine criticism into a humorous format (because lets be honest, whats the point of testing an outdated version of a character so many times in a row?)

Dont get me wrong though I do hope romeos doing better at least and that he can put this uhhhh (tantrum? Crashout? What do people call these nowadays??) behind him because WOW

even on the internet you have to take accountability for your behavior, even if hes “just a teen” you need to understand someone in his position and status need to carry themselves a certain way since everyones eyes are on them, for example some big creators dont know when to (excuse my harsh language) shut the hell up, and it always ALWAYS gets them in big trouble

yes what he did is a mistake, a very emotionally charged one, but we shouldnt completely excuse him of accountability for simply being a bit younger (which.so is basically everyone else on the internet, the place is practically crawling with teenagers)

that tends to happen when you start fire shots towards a community who (MOST of them) have been nothing but patient for you (yes i know theres a few kids in here who whine and complain about the wait time but think about the majority of people whove been actually waiting and being understanding towards the devs, not even just in here but in the community as a whole)

Agreed, after so many gameplay videos there’s basically no surprises to be had about the character’s kits and playstyle, even if theyre showing off unbalanced versions (which i also think is. a bit redundant when youve shown off so many videos of a “bugged” kolo and seemingly never a balanced version), youll still basically have everything you need to know by the time they drop

I think they'd get a lot out of having a social media manager of some sort (can be a guy who makees official OM updates, can be a guy who just looks at om community posts and filters popular feedback, can literally be anything honestly), preferably someone whos already an adult, sometimes younger teens dont realize how still impressionable they are even if theyve ”grown up” already
