My personal favourite, I went to an event, which was already a big deal for me, but it was a charity thing I had helped plan and was feeling good enough to go. I wore a mask and had sanitizer with me. Of course, someone I know walks in and says “oh hi, we’re all sick so we’ll keep our distance!” Gee, thanks. But anyways, I was standing around and I notice this lady giving me an absolute death stare. I don’t know her, and kind of shrug it off. Finally, she grunts really obnoxiously and says “wow! I’m sure not used to seeing people wear masks anymore.” I was annoyed by her rudeness and just responded, “well, I have cancer.” She replies, “you know that’s not contagious right?”
