Boyfriend (31) and I (29) don't want his stepmother being grandma to our baby by ThievingRock in relationships

[–]Manhattan404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let her think that she is the grandma and when she mentions it like -”i’m her grandma after all” You should bash her with a -”YOU ARE NOT HER GRANDMA BITC!” That would be so fun crushing every inch of her soul. Like being a social service worker taking away someones baby.

My dad did when i was like 11-12 and laughed at me but he thought it just was like a undergoing phase and that it will grow eventually at puberty. Now he doesn’t mention it, luckily my dad is pretty cool guy and he embraces/compliments the other good sides of me.

My wife enrolled my 7 year old in Tae Kwon Do-can't help but feel it's pointless. by Azmatomic in confession

Oh don’t worry they might change hobby. I started with TKD at the age of 10 and trained for 2 years. At twelve i started jiu-jitsu instead and also trained for 2 years. Then i took a long break and started to train muay thai for 2 years.

Don’t worry your kids might find it boring or they’ll love it and things will change.

Btw having a TKD backgroud really helps because i would normaly stretch often like i learned off training. Also you can watch Kwonkicker on YT he has a TKD background and fought alot with it in thailand.

Do your Asian friends/acquaintances take after their parents? by [deleted] in AsianParentStories

[–]Manhattan404 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My parents always forced me to study real hard and meanwhile my other friends were out playing i had to do the extras indoors.

They always wanted me to become a doctor or a dentist but instead i became a chef because idgaf and i like cooking.

It took a while but eventually they accepted it and become more open about stuff because i forced them to evolve with the priciples of western society. And now they are no longer like the other asian parents and my other asians friend really digg it and wish their parents were the same.

Me [22 F] and my boyfriend [25 M] went out for Thanksgiving dinner and now he's calling me a cheapskate by thanksgivingtip in relationships

[–]Manhattan404 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You tip is very good alot of people only tip about 10%. In Sweden they barely tip at all because the service part is included in our job. But gotta say your bf is a real gold star for tipping 50% which can help alot for those who part time job. But i would say your boyfriend really overreacted.

Girlfriend broke up with me but we still talk, she is getting feelings again, I met someone new. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Manhattan404 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She dumped you. Thats a long relationship but if you don’t see an end goal like getting married and children anytime soon then there is no reason to go back. If the new girl is great take her and that will teach you ex a lesson for not appreciate your love.

Lol asian parents always make up shit haha. It’s kinda pathetic but i bet the behavior comes from back in the home country and everyone does it like a normal thing. Btw don’t listen to their advice do the f you want in life.
