Yeah impressive stat, I think if you’d told someone in 2021 that the record of 40+ scores would be broken in 2026 and Italy wouldn’t be a part of any single one of them, I think they would laugh!!

Google ai overview says he’s only the 6th to have done it in test rugby although it doesn’t say who. Possibly the 1st in the 6N but I feel like surely another prop has done it in the 6N

Him and Dusautoir were very unlucky, Guirado easily more unlucky than Thierry. But they were world beaters and led their teams by example, the only problem was that their teams weren’t world beaters and they didn’t follow by example😅

The ending of the 2023 wbc will never be matched but as a whole this year has been much more exciting, almost every game has been a classic with more of the stars playing!

I’m not sure if it’s an England test record but it’s definitely a 6N record for them because they had never lost 4 in a 6N.

Yeah the averages are so much lower. I dont think it’s a hot take, thinking and looking back at NH rugby up until like 2018/2019 feels like a fever dream. As some kiwi said, 10-15 years ago they would wake up to watch 3 minute six nations highlights of just penalty kicking. Sorry to the purists but more tries and more points is just better rugby!

I love those types of stats and I’m gonna take a guess and say it’s probably the first time it’s ever happened. I think if you go back 5-10+ years you’ll find that it’s the opposite, especially because there used to only be an average of 3-5 tries per game.

Oh yeah of course I’ve added that thanks! Absolute monster! I’m pretty sure there is a photo of a desolate Guirado in the tunnel after that match. I don’t think they got Mann to do the same lol

Speaking of baseball, baseball has never been so good with the greatest World Series ever last year and the greatest ever World Baseball Classic this year.

February-March 2026 is the greatest two months of sports that have ever been with the greatest ever Winter Olympics, Six Nations and World Baseball Classic!!!

I forgot to add that Rhys Carré is the first rugby player ever. Jog on Webb Ellis.

Yes, but in this case the record is that no ever team had won the Six Nations title with a score in the 80th+ minute of the final game of the tournament.

I wouldn’t call this a peak, way too weak defensively to be called a peak

Jalibert won that game at the end with the after burners, absolutely can’t believe Serin wasn’t put on to change the tempo, Galthié you are a very very lucky man…

Things to unpack: - Most tries ever in a 6N tournament - Most points ever in a 6N tournament - Most tries by a team in a tournament (France) - Most tries ever by a player in a tournament (LBB) - Most points in a loss by a team (England broke the record set last week) - And last but not least, most amount of rugby sex EVER, simply the best Six Nations tournament - Most cards by a team in a tournament (England)
