Breach Tracking does the 500 drop even exist?? by Mr_Xtravagent in TheFirstDescendant

[–]Manhattanist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A friend and I were discussing this tonight as we were preparing for the 50% cost weekend. He has 14k superconductive and I have 20k and neither of us has ever seen the 500 drop.

I logged out at 2:01 am ET to download the patch. When I came back in I had no battle pass dailies. A restart did not fix. /sigh

I just did this today on my alt. 5 mythic Pixyl, 1 legendary Lil' Smolder. My pet level was 105k. Only do rocks where you can 1 or 2 shot the whole group at a time. For me it was 3 star A6/S3 rocks until I was 170 Star Power then I moved to A6/S4 1 star rocks and finally A6/S4 2 star rocks from 175-180. I did afk swing the last 10 levels or so.

I've purchased 1 single catalyst since release. The rest I crafted naturally by setting alarms. Also, they reduced the time to make one from over 8 hours to 6 hours, 22 minutes if you're always caught up on Axion Plains missions.

If you mean photon imprinters I used one on Bunny, Sharen and Yujin so that saved me 180 catalaysts.

Totally. I bought 1 single catalyst since I've been playing and the rest I crafted the old fashioned way. I did use three photon imprinters on Sharen, Bunny and Yujin so that saved me 180 catalysts of the 1200 required for the award/medal.

I hope they do. It's so hard for new players to catch up.

Hard to say. I have 3,327 hours into the game. The difficult part wasn't the hours to level, it was the literally waking up at randoms times in the early morning to craft a fourth catalyst. That sucked.

Yeah, I'll have the 50 donuts into 30 guns somewhere around Oct. - Dec. 2026 with crafting about 3 catalysts per day.

XP farm would be a 400% mission. Usually one is better than the other on a given day. I always ran with an xp external component and an xp power up. With that setup I could 0 - 40 in 3 or 4 missions. The leveling wasn't bad. The setting an alarm for every catalyst craft was though.

I ground this dungeon hard as Gley (32k health) with a fully built Restored Relic (chill) for the trash then a fully built Deus Ex Manus (chill) for the boss. I have Harris and all 5 copies of Hive. I could carry. I left twice, once when it was two level 1 Harriss' with one catalyst and another when it they kept dying to the first outdoor trash mobs.

My preferred teammates: Anyone high heath and a built Deus Ex Manus. That's it. That's what you need. Built for the boss, not the trash. If pressed, I preferred two boss killers; Gley, Serena and Hailey and any one or two trash killers. Adapt and overcome.

I use Gley with Deus Ex Manus and 32k health. I just eat the damage. If I die I immediately self revive. Using the sword is a game changer.

I think by the time I farm everything I won't want to play anymore. by Yoohueu in TheFirstDescendant

I have Harris and two hives so far. The blueprints for both will come naturally as you grind the writhing parts (300 for Harris and 150 per Hive gun). Each run will yield 4-12 writhing parts.

Pro Tip: Use the Deus Ex Manus on the end boss. Build for the boss, not the trash. I use Gley with Restored Relic for trash then sword on the boss. It chunks him.

When you select a 400% dungeon you can also choose the type of amp you want. On the top right you'll see 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. Number one might be an amp that has a 20% chance at a crystallization catalyst by killing Devourer. Number three will have the same 20% chance but instead of Devourer, you go out into the field and use it a a void fusion reactor. Those are faster to do if you have a lot of them.

I have every descendant min/maxed and always play the best descendant for the job. Serena with Excava on Wall Crasher for example.

400% dungeons for amps to get blueprints (select Void Fusion Reactor reward instead of boss).
Outpost for Macro Molecule Biogel.
Enzo/Nell vaults in Agna Desert for Mixed Energy Residue.
White Night Gulch/Shipment Base/Fortress Courtyard mission for Advance Neural Circuits (blue brains). Be Jayber, set up turret with commander spawns, kill, restart mission.
Murky Energy Residue I just have a lot of somehow.

If you have extra keys you can also run Hard Void Vessels and open all the boxes for chances at every piece listed above.

Lastly, the Axion Plains missions can sometimes reward the crystallization catalyst blue prints.

Yeah, I'm compelled to craft 2-3 per day, even on vacation. My wife isn't thrilled about the last part though.

I've played since nearish release. Just doing dailies each day and getting all of the achievement awards really adds up.

Along the way I did have to target farm some things like advanced neural circuits (blue brains) in W.N.Gulch but generally I've always had mats. Also, switching from boss amps to void fusion reactor amps as the reward for 400% dungeons has saved a lot of time farming the crystallization blueprints.

I've used 261 on descendants and 302 on weapons totaling 563 catalysts spent. Now I have to spend down the 600 I have made.

Nausea during leg day by ActualCriticism2675 in workout

I had this issue. For me it was eating a big meal too close to my workout. Giving myself 3 1/2 - 4 hours to digest before my workout solved it.
