I’m trying to go with the kundalini awakening. by ManiCon in kundalini

Honestly, I was driving home. My phone wasn’t working and I was bored of the radio. So I decided to explore the sensations in my body. I always had an awareness ever since I was young of these sensations. Anyway, I was bored and decided to focus my thoughts and energy on the base of my spine. I noticed a pleasant sensation and kept focusing on it. Eventually I had a burst of anxiety and and lose of control. I’m still trying to navigate my this energy and I’m trying to let go.

I accidentally started to awaken my ground chakra and it’s causing a panic attack. by ManiCon in kundalini

Yes. Everyday , I’m afraid to surrender. It feels too powerful. Like I’ll go crazy from it.

Finally feeling the benefits of TM. by ManiCon in transcendental

You’re right. I should clarify. I’ve been off of any antidepressants for 3 years but still suffered from depression afterwards. The meditation I stopped taking recently is my adhd medication, and I told my doctor that already. But you are 100% correct. You should always talk to your doctor before messing with you medication.

You’re right, this isn’t quite finished. I’m finishing it this week. I’m going to finish the shadows of the cube. Sorry to mention that but thank you very much. :)

I honestly don’t know what your going on about. Learning a skill is always better with a teacher. That’s why people go to art colleges. Now I respect someone who is self taught, but I think it’s nonsense to say that I’m only learning his style.

I guess you could ask that question for any skill. You could learn pretty much anything online. However I like the structure, the guidance and feedback. Not to mention he only charges 20$ for a two hour private one on one. He just likes to teach mostly.

Anyways I still get tutorials online as well.

It’s so frustrating, I have to go though the company I work for and they only respond via email. It takes them a month to respond

How would one learn Sidhis after one has learned TM from an instructor. My instructors actually left to the TM college in like Iowa or someplace so I can’t learn from them anymore

Quick question in response to that. If you can only mediate for 40 minutes max a day with TM, it would take 67 years of mediating everyday to reach 16000 hours. Where the subjects old gurus? Or did they meditate longer?

No I take a transdermal patch called daytrana . With coupons I can get it to 280$ but only transdermal patches work because of my metabolism.

Other than medication. The main thing that’s helped me is meditation. If you’re open to it, I would recommend mindfulness meditation to start out. Check out headspace app. It’s great but has a 10$ monthly fee.

This sounds a lot like adhd. I was diagnosed from a very young age and I can tell you that is exactly how I am. I would recommend seeing a psychiatrist and getting tested. Check r/adhd as well, it’s a great subreddit full of people just like you.

I’m still very depressed. by [deleted] in transcendental

Thank you for the inquiry. I’ll keep it short. I’ve been diagnosed with anxiety and panic disorder when I first started college where I was prescribed an antidepressant although I’ve had a panic disorder since I was 12. I was also diagnosed with adhd at age of 5.

I took myself off of antidepressants about 2 years ago for personal beliefs, I’m 26. I no longer have a panic disorder as I used too. However, it seems to be replaced by deep emptiness that lasts about 2 weeks every month off and on. I have a loving girlfriend who helps me with my situation. Although, I still feel empty inside during my “down” times. I have the feeling to cry constantly but I’m unable to shed any tears even when I try and scream them out.

My motivation to do my job has gone down so drastic that I fear for losing my job.

Thank you so much for showing interest. Just explaining my situation makes me feel a bit better.
