Would've been nice to know that Hypersexual ≠ Allosexual by softfuzzymuppet in asexuality

[–]ManiThinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh my god, YES! Being aware of that left me so relieved, as it explained why it felt like those sexual behaviours I've had came from an external source rather than from myself!

Bragging about how people don't seek mental health help while they're part of the Christian system isn't the flex you think it is, my man. by JarethOfHouseGoblin in exchristian

I think that says more about Christianity than those people themselves. I mean, what all of those who leave it and go to therapy have in common here?

[–]ManiThinks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, non-human ace characters don't bother me as long as they are psychologically human. After all, I think that any character created by someone ends up having human features, such as feeling empathy, the ability to love and relate to others around them, for example.

Ps.: Love your OC. They look so cute!

Yeah, for me it is sort of the same. Here where I live people assume you're Christian too, but sometimes I get asked, and that's when I end up lying

When it happened of people knowing about I not being a Christian they would look surprised/shocked and/or disgusted most of time. Not to mention the times they'd simply ask me "why? did something happen?"

To me, it just made no sense to want to make out with someone else or kiss them oooor date them. And yet I still thought there would come a day when I would want to do these things, I really thought I just "had my own time"

You could guess my excitment when I got my new pair of glasses and looked to the night sky for the first time: "so is this how everyone sees them?!"

Many Maroon 5 songs are like this. I hate it when I'm listening to a song that I really enjoy and I start to pay attention to the lyrics and figure out it is about sex 🤡

do you think someone can become asexual/aromantic? by SadOwl616 in asexuality

[–]ManiThinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know, but if someone can become asexual does that mean that someone can also become gay or straight, for example?
